I am seriously, seriously considering moving to Anaheim and getting a season pass and just going there every day. Yes, just hanging out with Donald Duck and Belle and everyone all day. :P That's how Disneyland addicted I am.
My family and friends are like, "Huh?! You'll get sick of it." I honestly don't think they understand the extent of my love for Disney. I'd probably sit in Minnie's house until security made me leave, hee hee.I'm also considering a move to Seattle but I keep thinking, "It's even farther from Disneyland!" It's already a six hour drive to Disneyland for me!But honestly, a season pass and not having to work would be the next best thing to living there. Sounds like heaven to me!! PS--I am 33 and unmarried. I refuse to marry anyone unless they give me a Walt Disneyworld Wedding. I have been engaged twice. No, they have to take me to WDW. Plus, I just got sick of them each, hee hee.

pic of me and husband in toontown
I grew up near Florida so my family went to Disney World once a year.
I love it and I never get tired of it. I just moved back to Alabama from Oregon and my husband and I stopped at Disneyland on the way. We had a wonderful time except for it was the off season and lots of the rides were closed for maintenance. The most exciting part for me was going to Toontown. It was great being in a place that looked like the game I spend all the time playing. My husband's toons are Rusty Wildtwist and Fangs Thundermonkey

I can't get enough of Disney World. I swore from the age of 6 to about 14
that I was going to be parade dancer. I would practice in the back yard and I knew all the songs they would sing. I could have been great, but, after a trip to Sea World I changed my mind. I decided to be a whale trainer I am not a dancer or a whale trainer but I can still dream

I will trade you, Chaos! It's getting hot again. I mean, when you get blisters just from opening your car door, you know where you're living is just way too hot. I guess it's all my Scandinavian blood, I need water and trees. I'm such a fish out of water here!
Bananagoober, that's adorable. I would love to be one of the costumed characters. I know they get punched, kicked and knocked over and stuff... but geez, that would be so much fun. Even if they do have to wear a cooling system and breathing apparatus (as I've heard.) I'm an Uncle Scrooge fiend. I've only seen him there once and I've been at least twenty times. I saw him all the way across Main Street USA and I took off in a heated run. I didn't get to him in time. Everyone teases me, "Ha ha, he saw you coming and got out of there fast!" I probably would have hugged him and they would have had to pry me off. Ok, I'm a little nutty about those Disney ducks. But at least I finally saw him!

Thanks for the link! I've skimmed over it and will go read it all. Those sound like my kind of people!
I did go through a ten year, "I am never coming back!" after one bad day at the park. I went on three rides that day (two were Space Mountain) because I spent all day in line. But the last time I went was in winter, and it was great again. So I think I'd just stay away on weekends/holidays. Then when I went back again, I rode the train straight to Toontown because I hadn't seen it yet. My uncle is an artist and the company he was with did some of the work on Fantasyland when they remodeled it. Now he makes these gigantic inflatable balloons and things for parades, advertisments, things like that. When I last visited him he had a huge Donald Duck head and he was painting the Santa Claus hat for it... it was for a parade. It was about 25 feet tall. I have a pic, if I can find it I'll post it. I thought that was pretty cool! |

![]() I have an annual pass too. And I've worked at Disneyland before. I've considered moving other places (almost moved to NC a year or so ago) but I always think "that's just too far from a Disney park." lol Laurie
