Music in my head

It's not that the sound provided my the game isn't interesting, but I often play the game with the sound off as not to disturb others.

This morning, while I was playing, I couldn't get 'Big Yellow Taxi" by Joni Mitchel out of my head ("They've paved paradise and put up a parking lot"). I looked for a snip to post here and found that the song has been recorded my Bob Dylan, Amy Grant, and most recently by a group in the UK called Counting Crows (and a very respectable rendention I might add).

I know that this an international body, but am curious if anyone else does this and what song sticks in your head.

You probably hate me mentioning this as now "late last night I heard the screen door slam" is stuck in you head too. thanks, ...Bear

PS. I also hear 'Counting Flowers' occasionally (by the Statler Brothers), maybe it's my time for the padded room. I don't hear voices, just music,...Honest.

Its usually Rush, Jimmy Buffett or songs from the musical Hair that get stuck in my head. But I know what you mean! Just a random snip of the song or some lyrics being spoken, intentional or not, can get me singing.

But I must confess, the last two days have had me singing Winter Wonderland. I might have always done this when enough snow is on the ground but to be honest, the last 6 winters or so have been pratically snowless so I don't remember. Its beautiful outside! (As long as you don't have to clear any of it) I saw 2 cardinals in a tree outside my window - wish my camera battery wasn't dead, I would've snapped a shot for y'all.

I always have Winamp going while playing Toontown. At work I turn all sound effects off, but at home just the music is off. I often sing to lucky buildinggoers with me some of the lyrics of the music I'm listening to.

Look for 'hamster dance'. Try to find the original - not hamster dance 2. That music will stick with you all day and night!

Edit: I found it at www.hamsterdance.org

yeah!!!
