Phantom Toons? Could it be?

I saw the strangest thing last night in Toontown Central. It was around 1:00 am CST and me and my son's toon were Cog fighting on Loopy Lane (it might have been Silly Street) and I can't remember the district. I was building my toonup on my 54 laff toon with my son and his 16 laff toon. We got into a battle with 3 cogs and they kept on coming. I would pass and toon him up while he pounded away with cupcakes and squirt flowers ....

Anyway, during the middle of this battle I saw this this low laff kitty toon come twirling up to us saying, she needs help. She pops into our battle and I see her laff meter is at 1 of 17 and another higher laff toon pulls out the lipstick to toon this toon up. During the battle scene, the kiss went to an invisible spot. I couldn't see the toon and a few seconds later that toon's laff meter went sad. I thought that's weird. The cogs didn't even do anything and the toon went sad. Before we finished with the cogs, the same toon came twirling up again, saying I need help. And before this toon could join our battle, I heard the toon go sad and disappear. And then it happened again. It happened three times before we finished battling the cogs.

How can this happen? Has anyone else seen something like this?

Never had that happen, but used a cane to heal 2 other toons,which failed, but got 3 +1's on the 2 other toons and one on a blank space. Both toons were dogs,but I heard a duck quack too. Very strange indeed.
