I seriously think it's trap. No one hardly ever wants to use trap unless it's tnt or train. All the other traps are useless. Trap is a huge pain <snip> while drop is actually fun to use.
And it's weird but, drop seems to hit more often for drop lovers xD. Last edited by The Dogfather; 11-27-2007 at 08:25 PM. Reason: Non G-rated |

It doesn't almost always miss.
I have drop and love it. When you get it maxed it misses way less often. With drop, people can't cancel it out, or make it not activate. But since it's the last to go, somtimes people will kill cogs before you have a chance to drop. With trap you rely on people, your friends, or yourself (With takes two turns), to make it work. It can also be cancelled out by other people placing a trap over it, and people sometimes just might not lure it. Trap although is pretty powerful, organic train can take out level 12's... I think. I would say they're both about equal in my opinion. I've maxed both drop and trap on different toons and found them equally difficult. |

Harder to train? Can't really answer that since I never really got a chance to train Trap myself, but I'm going to assume Trap.
Drop was the final gag for me to max, but that's just because I wanted to train up the more necessary (what I considered more necessary, ie.: TU, Sound, and Lure) gags first. Drop was actually pretty easy. Drop starts off hard due to lots of missing (which is obviously due to bad accuracy), but once I got to the Big Weight it was a piece of cake. I went to invasion districts, found quiet streets, and soloed 2-3 story buildings with Drop alone. Once you reach the Big Weight for Drop, it apparently gains an accuracy boost (seemed that way for me anyway). That boost seems to continue from there on with Drop. I'm assuming Trap because I've seen my friends and how they've faired with it. One of my friends, Jumbleface, just maxed his Trap... appx. 118-119 laff. Another friend of mine, Silly Lloyd Superboom (aka Raxz), is at 108 laff and is at the Trap Door currently. I maxed Drop at 105 laff. I had a few other TF's who told me that Trap was bugging them and a drag to train up. Drop does have the disadvantage of low accuracy and going last in battle, Trap does have the disadvantage of relying on lure in order to work and if 2 of the same Traps are placed on the same cog, they go *Poof!* Also, Drop is much more manageable in soloing as it's a one turn gag. Trap on the other hand in soloing takes two turns. Both gags can benefit greatly with (an) other(s) - Drop gains an accuracy boost from Sound, Throw, and Squirt, while Trap can be a one turn gag assuming there's a Lure amongst the group (or other). There are more reasons I could come up with, but it'd be a bother typing any more, so my final words: Drop is easier to train, Trap is harder. |

Drop vs. trap is a really good question! Having maxed both a few times over, I have to say that both are equally difficult to train. Each has advantages and disadvantages. I think which one you choose should depend upon how you plan on training gags. If you like to train gags on your own, soloing buildings and stuff, then drop would be best. If, on the other hand, you play more often with friends and in groups, then trap is better, because most of the time the cogs will be killed before it gets to drop, and yes, drop does miss a lot, even when maxed. With trap, even if lure does miss, the trap is still there and you can try and lure again.
Keep in mind that maxed trap does more damage than drop (180 vs 170), and can take out level 11 cogs. Organic level 7 trap can even take out level 12s. But, you only get to carry two TNT's, and you can carry three pianos for drop. Anyway, it always seems when I'm playing a toon that has maxed trap I miss drop, and when playing one with maxing drop I miss trap! LOL |

Yeah, that's another disadvantage I forgot to mention with Trap. You can't carry as many Trap gags as Drop. Here are the amounts at max you can hold:
Trap: Banana Peel - 20 Rake - 15 Marbles - 15 Quicksand - 10 Trapdoor - 5 TNT - 2 Now compare it to Drop: Flower Pot - 30 Sandbag - 25 Anvil - 20 Big Weight - 15 Safe - 7 Grand Piano - 3 |

Wow! I didn't know the numbers were so different. I picked drop on my first toon and was considering trap for the new one (love that TNT).
Once I started training drop, it went pretty fast. As someone said before, once you get to the big weight, accuracy is much better. Pianos sometimes miss, but so do goggles. Toon-up took longer for me to max than drop. |

ughhh i think drop is way easier...
my main toon is dropless and has trap and shes a 113 laff and still hasnt maxed trap! it's taking me forever! you use drop in battles way more than trap, because with trap you have to lure which is one step more than drop. also you can only carry 2 tnts! what a waste
