I totally agree! I think that I have worked hard enough on my first toon to know well enough how to operate an uber. And then the people with barely enough experiance come in and say that they have an uber and acts all mighty...

Okay not really sure how to start here....If you have an uber I don't think it matters what laff your other toon is, as long as you know how to play and know what your doing. Which could mean have 1 toon over 100 laff.
If you are an uber, it doesn't seem righht to act like you're better then everybody. I would never do that on my uber because I know I'm not a GREAT player....but I am pretty good. Isn't the whole point of an uber to make things more fun? Okay did any of that make sense?

I understand where you're coming from. Making an uber seems to be a big trend recently. Now that you can get gag credit twice as fast (with the invasions) it's easier than ever.
I liked being sure that going in with an uber would guarantee going in with a good player, but I haven't noticed newer ubers to be much lesser players than the old ones. Some aren't great, but most aren't too terrible. Like you said, the bad ones don't last too long, at least. I don't think people should be barred from making ubers based on the laff of their first toon. I basically agree with you- the ones with the 50 laffers as their highest toon get bored too quickly to actually make a real uber. The ones that go all the way are usually the good players to begin with. I'd still rather go with one of the semi-ubers than one of the gagless 30 laffers shuffling at the VP elevator every day.

I dont have A maxed toon, but I do have toons who have maxed cash and sell. I think it's a question of when you want to add a little variety to your toons and switch off sometime.
Most newcomers and the inexperienced would not deliberately make an uber since so many of them have "lowlaffaphobia" and those who make ubers are USUALLY comfortable with a losing a little laugh in a fight. It's usually someone who thinks "well, I can certainly achieve this with about this much laff" than someone not confident in their own skills. There's no set point when someone is going to think this and create an uber.

Hey guess I didnt make clear that the main point was experience and skill, not necessarily the laff of the first toon, although that does show some of both sometimes(dont get me wrong, I have seen terrible high laffers) but its nice to see that you guys know where im coming from.

My sister wants me to train a uber for her. This started WAY back. I haven't really got much time to do it, and it's stuck at 17 laff. (Training.) I'm really considering not making the toon a uber. There are so many. I have seen the majority increase. Before if used to be something special, now it's everyday.
EvilDino, a uber is a toon which has low laff, but high gags (Maxxed). |

An uber is usually a toon with low laffpoints but have maxxed in gags, or something along those lines. (Edit: someone posted before me, hehehe, well there you go)
Anyways, me and my sister have almost maxxed our toons (being over 100 laffpoints with maxxed gags, etc) and we are creating ubers which, after awhile, we will get them to have over 100 laff points too. So, actually, we are not making ubers, but getting our gag experience needs over with. I find this a good way. But, I agree on some of what you are saying. |

I know,Every person has an uber and it's getting unoriginal.Even I made one, except I trained mine to be a 2 track uber with 4 track uber laff.
Max Thunderpretzel(Mine) is the only one ever because everyone thinks it's not a true uber. "It is original" in my terms. |

I am "trying" to make an uber. Although part of me has lost my patience with getting the gags better. My uber is my Pig toon at this time, due to lack of tasks I had to take some laff tasks, so I went over 30. I would agree with the original poster though that people who have just got bored of trying to get their first toon to 100 laff are making ubers. However, we also cannot say that a 100 laff toon equals an experienced toon either. So, maybe an uber toon of someone who's first toon is around 60 laff might just surprise.

I have not maxed my first toon and I only have 1 toon in the 100s but that doesn't mean I don't have the exp. Also I just started in Feb. this year and I know alot more about TT then some people that have had it 3 years! It does not matter on your laff or gags of your first toon that says you can make an uber. It just means you have to have the exp. to take your time and work him/her and not worry about dieing. I have an uber in training but I don't calll him and uber because he isn't he is in training but he is still an uber because he has better gags then most toons his laff. An uber does not mean it has to be maxed in gags it just means it has to have better gags then a normal toon of that laff. I think uber just means you are better at something then a normal toon at that laff. Like if you say you have a sell uber that doesn't mean you have a Mr. Hollywood lvl 50 with like 25 laff. All it means is that it is better then a toon of that normal laff. I could have a Two-Face with only 40 laff and I'd call that an uber because it is better. Point is, it doesn't matter about your first toon at all or even if the uber is your first toon you don't have to have the exp. Also some of those "bad ubers" could just be people trying to work both of their toons, like their first toon is 131 and the uber is 20 with whole cream pie so they are trying to max the first one but in their spare time working on the uber some. I do not spend day and night on my uber trying to max him but he is still very good to me compared to a normal 15 laff. (He is 15 laff with whole cream pie and 50 points to seltzer bottle)
Edit: Never noticed I had typed that much on this one little subject. ~Jackson~
