Randoms = Mystery Meat?
Greetings all!
The other night when playing TT with some friends, I threw out a phrase when we were entering a factory vator during a busy shuffle time. I think I said something like "Oh great! Mystery meat! lol". The reply I got was, "Huh?" My thought was that with randoms, you just NEVER know what you're going to get .. just like at the good ol' school cafeteria. >>> MYSTERY MEAT <<< What do you think? Might this term stick on TT? If so, spread the word!! LOL Catch you in TT! Rock and Roll! ![]() Super Bonkers Rockenzilla - 121 bear aka Cool Clyde Dizzybocker - 109 blue kitty |

yeah I've thought of randoms as mystery meat for some time. If there's one thing HQ JN and Bucks runs proves, you cant always rely on someone's stats.

Just remember where you heard it first. :)
I'm glad that folks "get it". LOL Looks like the general feedback is positive. Spread the word! Too bad we can only use it on TT with Secret Friends, and not Speedchat phrase. Maybe some day.
![]() Well .. And we can use it here when complaining about bad runs, buildings and uncooperative toons. Teamwork rules. Party on! ![]() Rock on! ![]() Have fun! |

Both great ideas!
I like both ideas .. "Mystery Meat" can hang out with "Roadkill". I'm sure that people can come up with some other great ones. I HAVE seen "The Other White Meat" (pig .. pork). "Cat Toy" (mouse). "Cat Chow" (mouse).
Have fun! Bob |

Have you ever gone through an elevator shuffle and into a factory, mint, DA, or building and NOT known whether or not the other toons.. > were low laff or high, although this doesn't usually matter TOO much. I know a good number of great low laff players. > restocked their gags before going in. > were good/nice players who help out and have fun instead of being rude, and not being a good team player. > were going to be insistent on working certain gags no matter what the cost. > were going to keep asking for a toonup after every -1 or -2 hit. Or every time they DID take a bigger hit. The other toons can see how many LP they have left. So we know that/when a toonup is needed. > got a couple floors into the DA "D" elevator (which we KNOW is long), and then did a "I need to go" poof! > were NOT going to help with toonup even though they were carrying it. ... etc. It's a Mystery what you're going to get when working with toons you don't already know. MOST are great! Some aren't. And .. Toons = Animals = Meat So ... "Mystery Meat". Plus "Mystery Meat" is a phrase sometimes used in school cafeteria's. Is it Salisbury steak, meatloaf, or turkey? We're just not sure... "Mystery Meat". ![]() Hope this helps! Have fun!! ![]() Ciao .. Bob |
