A "Little-Bit" of Help here....

Ok,
Back to toon town after 2 years. When I left there was only fishing and the sellbot HQ which as a 42 Holly was getting old (Merit runs especially).

Now I see there are gardens? And the racing is new. New gags to max, that's cool. I see they have other HQ's but please tell me there is some other way to get the cog suit parts than from the Professor Monkey in the Brr?!? That is the only Toon Task they are letting me take and if I have to continue to run back and forth everytime I get a external sensor from battling the cogs I may pull out Purrple Purrection's furr.

So any proceedure to getting suit parts other than what I'm getting so far with Professor Monkey or is that just how it starts? On my map the other HQ's are still behind clouds, so I am guessing that I get my first suit and the HQ is "revealled".

In order to get your Law Hq suit you have to keep going back to the same Prof. Thats the only tasks you can choose for Law Hq suit parts... I know its boring, but its pretty easy.

I hope you don't have to do that for every suit in the Lawbot series!!! Just the first one?

Nope. You do it for all 14 suit parts. He basically just makes you go to every street in Toontown to fight cogs.

Yeah, I get that you do it to earn your first law cog suit. But after the first cog suit what then? Do you have to go back for each level of cog suit Bottom Feeder, Ambulance Chaser, etc.?

Ohhhhhh. No lol. Once you get your suit you keep it, and it never goes away. I'm guessing you thought that because Sell Hq used to be like that, but no, no Hqs make you get any suit parts once you've gotten them the first time.

Still at 42 level Hollywood, and haven't been back to fight the VP yet. Having disconnection problems...can't figure out if it my wireless router or Windows Vista. So I have yet to see if earning cog suit parts and merits are same on Sellbot. Man I hope not those endless merit runs were awful I have a feeling the merit runs are the same. It seems everytime I log on my friend Ozzie (nsf) asks "What toontask are you working on" and answers "I need merits"

Don't worry. Its not like that anymore lol. Sell Hq is actually pretty easy now... Good luck with getting Toontown to work though.

Only "Bossbot HQ" (we're not entirely for sure, but it's an extremely good guess, right?) should be behind clouds because it's not out yet. You can walk to the other HQs (Sell, Cash, Law) and the clouds will be removed. Just getting the suit doesn't mean the clouds will disappear.

Good luck getting your suit pieces, though, and definitely good luck for once you can CJ.

Like danny said they removed it on like when you would die the piece would go away.Heck no they removed that

No, just visit the HQ and you'll see it. As you may know by now, Cashbot is at the end of Pajama Place in DDL, and Lawbot is at the end of Polar Place in The Brrrgh. These should become visible.

Professor Flake is a nice monkey who just wants to study the atmospheric conditions in various parts of Toontown. If you have no For Fun tasks pending, his are very fast and in a couple hours the whole process can be done. Can't get a cog suit faster!

Now come on Crazy, 5 min.?!? I finished getting all of the suit pieces pretty quick last night. Ending up just fighting in a building on each street with other toons to get parts- so managed to get a gold star for my efforts But 5 min. Hmmmm. Doing the math that doesn't add up.

It was about 6 to 7 mins. The first cog I fought always gave me the readings.
