You should add that #1 even if TU misses, the affected players still get a small TU. #2 The group TU's are shared points, ie, bamboo cane doesn't do up to 45 per player, but 45 combined. So if there is 1 player, it's 45, 2 is 23 each and 3 is 15 each.

It can be argued that lure will work if trap doesn't miss. There's a little secret that I learned in the last couple of months, so when trap goes down, you can tell if it's going to hit or miss just before the other player tries to lure. If it's a miss, it may or may not work the next round, there's no way to tell. Once it's a "bad trap", it'll never tell you when lure will work. If it's a "good trap", lure WILL work, guaranteed.
It should also be pointed out that trap is the hardest to work by yourself and requires 2 gags to work (trap is one, lure is the other). Trap is still hard to work even in groups because of that same requirement.
Also, trap is the most powerful single-cog gag there is. TNT can do up to 180 points of damage (maxed, non-organic), where as the same gag level of drop (piano) can only do up to 170 damage.
I wouldn't call the limited trap gag information a spoiler. It's more like a warning or a drawback.

To better say it, throw and squirt gags always hit, even if they 'miss'. When they 'miss', that's when you don't get the knock back bonus. Also, while lured, sound almost always hits. (I have seen all cogs lured, but sound misses, very very rare). Also, drop will NEVER hit a lured cog. I don't know if a toons-hit SOS will change that, but under normal circumstances, drop never hits a lured cog. It has to be unlured first.

Better statement:
"Sound, when it hits, affects all cogs in battle, but...."
Sound is the only gag that affects all cogs at once (not counting the level 7 gags). Also, sound shouldn't be used on lured cogs because it will wake all the cogs. There are exceptions to this, but that can get complicated. For the most part, don't use sound on lured cogs, unless you know what you're doing.

Might sound better to say "to cogs", because the damage is TO them, not FROM them. "Damage" + "from" sounds like the toons get hit for that.

Many people choose drop. Many who choose drop are trapless, just like many who choose trap are dropless. There are also many who are TU-less, Lureless or Soundless. (Haven't met anyone who is throwless or squirtless though

) Basically, your comment about "most people" is inaccurate.
* Drop never works on lured cogs.
* Squirt is the
best stunning gag to help drop.
* Drop is slightly hard to train because it requires a cog to still be there (unlured) to use. However, it's easier to train solo than trap, since drop can be used by itself. (This is a fact people, please don't get heated by it.)
* Drop is the second most powerful single-cog gag.
With the exception of drop, the points you listed are when that gag is maxed. Cupcake for example does 4pt of damage, but when maxed does 6. A gag is maxed when you reach the necessary points to have the next gag level for that gag track. With drop, you get the same points until you reach the piano, then it starts out at 85 points and works its way up to 170 points.
Another thing to try to fit in there... Usually the highest gag level you can use is the same as the cog level in order to get gag points. ie, if you are battling a level 2 cog, then you can use a level 3 gag but you won't get the points for it. But you can use a level 1 gag and get the point for that. The exception to this is when there are 2 or more cogs, then the highest cog level is the highest gag level you can use and still get gag points for it. This is why it's smart to kill the weakest cogs first, saving the strongest cog for last when you are working for gag points. Deeper thought on this will tell you that you want to keep the lowest high-level cog. If you have a level 10, level 6 and 2 level 3's, then kill the 10 first, because he can do the most damage to you. Then the 3's, because you can use level 6 gags on them, then the 6. The best way to tell when you are going to get gag points for a gag is pay attention to the gag selection screen. If the gag has a blue background, then you will get points for it. If it has a green background, then no points. The gag info to the right will tell you also how many gag points you'll get for using it.
