High Laff but low experience

I may sound arrogant or rude but I have to get this out. There are many players out there who have high laff but horrible strategy. For example, today I went into a DA with high laffers. I was the second lowest at 118 laff. The lowest was a 116. The other two were 120+ and they were SFs. Well we were in a C office so five floors. If we followed the two fog strategy we would have two fogs left over. I know that three fogs and a ele kills a lvl 12. So at the last floor, I tell them to save a fog horn--use one fog and three elephants. It will take two turns but we would be able to sound on the last set. Well, I keep telling them and they are adament. Won't budge. So I got delayed and couldn't choose a gag. So we still have two fogs remaining. I decide to use the fog I have on the last set and if someone else would have fogged all the 11s wouldve died. Done in two turns. What do they chose to do? Have a toonup party!

Seriously guys! I am talking to the people who were in there. My toon was Doc Sally, a aqua bunny. Read my strategy over and decide. Was it stupid on my part to suggest this strategy?

Its so easy to become high laffs nowadays, especially with all the invasions. Many people build their toons really fast but don't have any decent strategy at all. I get quite frustated with that. I know I shouldn't but still...

I just got annoyed because they stunk me for having a good strategy. Seriously, folks...stop acting like kids.

Sorry to all the people I may have offended.

Edit: I know I have offended people by assuming she was Stay-At home mom. I am sorry to all that I offended. I have edited my post. Some moms are seriously awesome players. I have quite a few on my friend's list and I enjoy playing with them. I don't know what came over me...Sorry again

Cool

I think it’s pretty presumptuous of you to assume these are stay at home moms or even adults. They may have had an off night or frankly might have felt that you were being a bit bossy and didn’t have an interest in what you wanted.

When I go in with a group of randoms it’s majority rules and I follow along and try to work around their strategy. One round of toon up certainly doesn’t take an enormous amount of time and if it was in the last round they probably didn’t feel like running around the playground trying to find snowflakes. If you wanted to work as a team you could have just chosen lure.

I don’t think they stunk you for having a good strategy it was most likely your behavior.

I try to be a team player also. But when people gang up on me, I won't. I don't get a lot of time to play. School, internship, college apps, etc. takes away most of my time. So when I sit down to play, I want to have a good experience. These toons were being extremely rude to me. They were using hurtful phrases. They may not have understood my strategy, but that doesn't mean they would have been rude to me because I was delayed.

I have done other stuff with her and I will tell you, those weren't good experiences. She kept messing up before, but my sister and I weren't rude to her or didn't gang up. The only reason I went in this time with her was because her group was the only group that wasn't gonna go do a D office.
I knew from the beginning that I would regret it.

My behavior was not rude at all. They were rude first and so I responded to their harsh phrases in a similar manner. They stunk me, but did I stink her back? No! That is because I wanted to deal with them in a dignified manner.

The topic of my post was not to say that I am not a team player. Maybe I wasn't a team player for the last...but I think most would get annoyed if they were in my place. My point is to say that many high laff toons have horrible strategy or don't undertand strategy that is a bit out of the norm.

Also randoms done in nutty river should not be really considered random. Most toons who are in nutty river are dedicated players. They are usually on fansites and SHOULD know a little bit about strategy.

Sorry if I offended anyone again. My point is not to start a fight but to express my frustration over some of the horrible strategies (I would not call this experience horrible) I have seen. I am sure many of you also have experienced some of these terrible strategies at times.

I laughed so hard at this, thanks for making me smile!

I'm a stay at home. I'm lucky if I get TWO hours to play during the day, there's just not time!

It's funny but things don't just magickally happen, like vacuuming, dusting, laundry, making beds, delivering mail, picking up pets, scrubbing toilets, mopping floors, etc. ALL of that takes more than 24 hours, which is why I'm constantly at it and fighting to keep it done and at the same wishing I had a moment to log in. It's also why I log in for just 15-20 minutes at a time. I have to go do chores and errands between fishing and doing buildings. Sorry for that interruption, but it really depresses me when people don't realize just how much work "stay at home" parents really do. I got a job last month, and it SO much easier than staying at home was! And I didn't work for over a decade, so I'm not a new hand at "stay at home" parenting. LOL

Anyhow, back on topic.......I have noticed that there are also many toons with 110+ laff and very poor gags. It seems like to me some of the younger kids who have been plugging away have finally completed toontasks pushing them up into the higher echelon. They seem younger to me because of the wya they interract with other toons and their poor battle choices. If I was tooned up just once or twice by a 110 laffer when I was down only 1 laff point and facing a row of 3 level 10 cogs alone I'd probably assume someone was letting their child play their high level toon.......but it's happening SO often now.

I try to be nice to them, but it's hard when I see them causing good toons to go sad.

Now as for me, I admit I don't have the best strategy. I may be 105 laffer, BUT I am still new to this game. Everything I do for the first time with this toon is the first time I do it for real. For that reason when other toons who seem to be experienced make suggestions I try to follow them.

Hmm...

Another stay at home mom here...going on 9 years at home being lazy and spending all my days playing TT with the sole intent of annoying others. As the other lady said, us lazy-good-for-nothing stay at home moms DO have other things to do aside from eating bon bons and playing TT. Now that my kids are in school full time I also work part time, got to school FULL time AND do all the things she mentioned as well. I also happen to have a few toons, some of which are listed in my siggy.

If you seriously think it's us awful stay at home moms (rather than the toon you admitted you'd had trouble with before ) causing you grief, note my toons names and avoid me. Hey I'll even PM you a list of ALL of my toons if you like!

/End sarcasm

Seriously, you have trouble with ONE toon...KNOW that you don't like her playing style and you ASSUME that it's all stay at home mom's that stink? You might want to rethink that.

I dont think its right to single out a certain type of ppl here, but you are right, alot of high laffers in this game are bad players, and do have bad stratigies. Being a high laffer is overrated anyways, i'd pick a smart 100 laffer, over a dumb 128 laffer in any situation, laff doesnt matter as much to me anymore, its all about how a person plays.

I am a stay-at-home mom who homeschools, so my kids are with me all day. Where does that leave me? LOL!!! I do know a lot of homeschoolers play this game, so it is possible for kids to still be on during the day. Also, kids under age six don't need to go to school in most states, so they are on playing as well. My daughter is only four and plays in the early afternoon while I clean. I am sure many parents let their kids play their toons (especially if they only have one account) plus I know many times when my daughter has been caught playing on my toon without asking, lol

This horrible post is going to get me into a lot of trouble. I think I let my anger and frustration over one stupid person let me open this huge can of worms. Sorry to all the stay at home moms out there! I know I have offended you. My mom was also a stay at home until two years ago when my bro started full time school. I seriously appreciate it now that she spent so much time caring after us, looking after our studies, making us food, and the whole nine yards. I was just blinded by anger for a few minutes and decided to take my frustration on people who did no harm to me. If it is possile, mods please close this thread.

I'm kinda glad I read this after you edited...no harm done. But I will say this; I had more time to play when I was working outside of the home for my full time job. I work part time now at home and have 2 year old twins...so...let's just say TT is at the bottom of my 'would-like-to-do' list after eating and sleeping. lol Seriously.
