I thought Slate made it pretty clear what he was saying in his post. What he said is that keeping your toon wake in a playground is a bad thing as it slows the game, causes lag for other users and takes up a space that someone who wants to play could be using. It is not a nice thing to leave your toon logged in and awake for hours if you are not playing. But there is also nothing wrong with keeping your toon awake at your estate in a quiet district.

What he said was it's disruptive to other players (and not very considerate) to stay logged into the game in a busy district if you're going to be away from your PC for more than a few minutes.
Staying at your estate in a non-busy district so friends can fish or play the cannon games is more considerate and not as disruptive to other players. EDIT: I was responding at the same time Kait was, apparently, and wouldn't have posted this if I had seen hers first. |

I wouldnt be sorry about starting the thread. I had no idea you could keep your toon awake at the phone or jellybean jar.
And I think Slate added to it by encouraging us to be respectful about it if we're going to stay in game but away from the PC. I appreciated your original post, as well as Slates. Good luck and have fun.
