I thought they changed it so that if you do anything like that, it will just kick you off the game anyway?

I really think that people who do that should be kicked off the first time, and than for every time after that they try "staying awake forever", they get banned for a few days or a weekend or something.

Please do not try to stay awake. It makes the game more difficult for everyone else.

If you do it on pg and things with other toons then it is make other people to have a slow game, but if you do it on your estate is only a bad thing to do if you are on a full district, because other toons can't go there. If you are not on a full district and you do that on your estate then is ok. Like if you need to go but someone play cannons on your estate or play bingo with your other friends, then there is nothing wrong on stay awake if is not on a full district. But is a rare thing, most of the toons who stay awake do it for beanfast or to stay on the district... If you leave your toon sleeping on nutty river for like 10 mins then fine, but if you do it for few hours, this is not a really nice thing...

I thought Slate made it pretty clear what he was saying in his post. What he said is that keeping your toon wake in a playground is a bad thing as it slows the game, causes lag for other users and takes up a space that someone who wants to play could be using. It is not a nice thing to leave your toon logged in and awake for hours if you are not playing. But there is also nothing wrong with keeping your toon awake at your estate in a quiet district.

What he said was it's disruptive to other players (and not very considerate) to stay logged into the game in a busy district if you're going to be away from your PC for more than a few minutes.

Staying at your estate in a non-busy district so friends can fish or play the cannon games is more considerate and not as disruptive to other players.

EDIT: I was responding at the same time Kait was, apparently, and wouldn't have posted this if I had seen hers first.

My Mood:
Actually, try rereading it.

I see it as Try not to stay awake just to stay in the district, And its best to do it at your Estate to do no lag to other toons, And try to do it in a low district.

I wouldnt be sorry about starting the thread. I had no idea you could keep your toon awake at the phone or jellybean jar.

And I think Slate added to it by encouraging us to be respectful about it if we're going to stay in game but away from the PC.

I appreciated your original post, as well as Slates.

Good luck and have fun.
