while i think toontown is at a medium level of difficulty right now, i think that once level 7 gags have come out, it will officialy be made to easy. And i have great strategy (just ask max and rainbow) and i don't have all my gags even close to being maxxed yet - it's hard for me.

Well, yes easier in some ways. When sell first came out we died in the factory ALOT. The cogs were much bigger but we got more merits than we do even now. Then they dropped the cog levels with the arrival of cash and also dropped the merits to 194 for a full factory so you needed 28 full runs plus one short for an additional 120 for the mind boggling 5500 merits. That was truly horrible.
Also in sell, if you died you had to earn your suit parts back before you could try again, no gagging up and running back to sell hq. So yes, I would say with each boss addition it makes the other boss battles easier. We had invasions, they were just fewer but they lasted longer. You could subscribe to a couple of different paging systems that would alert you to invasions and they went off a few times a day. We threw gags like mad during those invasions. |

It is easier now. You can train gags a lot more easier now with all the invasions. My gags trained themselves, I didn't go into buildings with friends and max my gags. So, I was 106 when I maxed my gags.
Also, as it is easier to get bucks and merits, there are some really high toons (ie 110+) with two or three gags missing. There is no excuse for that unless you are trying to do that on purpose |
