Final Laff Point?
I think I'm stuck...Max is maxed...yes, pun intended...lol. He's 6x9999/9999 with 99 laff. All of the tasks I'm offered are JFF (Just For Fun) tasks (apprentice, bean rewards, big head, small legs, invisible toon, etc). Am I ever going to be offered a +1 laff boost or am I done? Early on, I remember passing up a couple of +1 laffboost tasks for others because I didn't realize the task would not be offered again.
I started a new toon and my strategy with that one is a little different. Every time I'm offered laff boost, I take it before the other ones (ie before bigger bag, carrying more beans, etc).

Submit a bug report to Disney, they will fix your Toon.
 This happened to Fritz Bananatoon on Open, too, as well as other toons in our family.

I think there's a 99 bug. You may have to e-mail Disney & tell them that to get it fixed. They should go ahead & set you to 100 laffs, I believe (but don't quote me on that).

It's not just 99's, it has happened to toons in the 90's in general. It's a bug, Disney knows it and will fix your toon if you submit a bug report.
