District System

Here are some reasons why I think that we should get the old District System back!!

1. We dont know what the busiest District is!
2. If its full, whe cant go in!
3. If ppl want to go to a district that has few people, we cant because we dont know how many people are in the "Quiet" District!
4.We dont know how many people are in the districts!
5.The lil button things are annoying(to me lol)

I know it drives me insane! I have to go into like 50 different districts until i find the busiest one! The #s were way better!

I agree with you 100%!

Even though I don't play anymore, I did play Test the first day it came out, and the second.

First off Disney changed this for their benifit and yours and I doubt that it will change back. The follow are the reasons for the change and my comments are in blue below the statement:

1) They have numerous server running TT apps (ie the different districts) yet on most days only one for two servers were being populated.

Think of it this way, you wouldn't run out and buy a new machine to play tt if you already have 2 around that work well but you never use. They just want to use what they already have.

2) The servers that did have a good population usually became very laggy and battles (vp and cfo, minting or factory always had lag) had major lag on usually some disco's.

Seldom did I end up getting a disco but I did experience major lag and at the end of the old district system it just seemed that things were way out of hand. Also on some days it was impossible to fight the VP and sometimes the cfo if you didn't have friends because of all the shuffling.

I really don't like waiting 19 seconds every battle just for everyone to join and sometimes all 3 of the other toons would get stuck so that wasted a minute right there not including the battles and animation plus the gag selection.

3) They have spread the user base out and now each server can be populated plus they have tweaked the placement of toons in the districts so that most of the time you will end up in a populated district.

I find it easy now to find groups to cfo, vp, and cj as usually have 3 or 4 choices of where to look. At times it does get a little confusing at to the blue, green, and red but seldom does it take me any longer than 1 minute to discover a "good" district.



Now some additional comments from me:

You can still TP to the "busy/closed" district if you have a friend located in that district. Also, remember that they will probably be adding more content down the line (more fishing and eventually BBHQ) and this will help out even more. Who know maybe even the Merry Go Round will come back because of reduced lag, etc.....

If you are finding it hard to get a group together to complete your tasks change districts and if at all possible take advantage of the invasions to build gags. If your gags get high enough then most tasks in the playgrounds can be completed solo with the exception maybe of the 5 stories in DDL but then again if you hurry during and invasion of CC's or something like that you can also fly thru them.

In conclusion you can make all the threads you like about it but I doubt that disney will really care since it helps them and the general population of TT out.
