Farewell, TTC

Okay, I've read the threads. I know how most people hate these goodbye threads, but I can honestly say I'm not doing this for popularity or to glean some tears or respect or anything. I'm not doing this to make people weep and beg me to stay. I am really leaving. You can sneer at this post in disgust if you please. Go right ahead. That's fine with me. I can sincerely say that this post is just as its title suggests--a farewell to this site and all the friends I have made here. Mostly to my friends, who have all been awesome, and my readers who I am sorry to abandon, but I feel I must.

Let's be honest, guys, when was the last time I posted? I have continually forgotten about TTC and abandoned you when you probably needed me most, or when you most wanted a story updated or a new chapter posted. I'd pop in now and then, raise the hopes, and then dash them to pieces by leaving again. Don't you guys deny it! D=< I was terrible, and there was no excuse for it.

The bottom line is, although I loved TTC and I had some of the best times of my "cyber life" on this site, I have to move on. Things just aren't as they used to be, and well, I've never been one to like change very much. I'm sorry. Really, this is for the best.

Now I may pop in once in a while just to check my PMs, maybe say hi to one of you great buddies out there. There's so many people I could mention who have really become my friends. Master FluffFuzz, Professor Crazy Superbrains, Coolchewbaca, Freckletoon, Eclipse Dragon, Video Gamer, Minesweeper, Unwritten, LittleFangs, Comet Electrogadget, twicktwock, soccergals, Captain Jellyroll (To be honest, I don't even know if some of you have changed your names by now. You probably have, but I think you know who you are. XD)... Oh, the list just goes on and on and on. But it was you guys who were among some of my first and best friends here. It was you who kept me on TTC for so long and it is you I will never forget. And there are so many more of you whose names I don't recall, but your kind words and posts will never be forgotten. Thank you to all of my readers, thank you to everyone who ever posted in one of my topics. Thank you for your support and encouragement.

Already I'm getting so melodramatic. Sorry guys. =P

Goodbye to CBD, to Tepcat, to Batleth and to -rcv- and EKB and all the other moderators and administrators who made this site so memorable.

Forgive me, dear readers, for never finishing Engvanion!

Thank you, TTC, for all the memories, both good and bad. I will never forget you. Farewell to you all.

Very well written. Even though I don't know you it seems like I do. Have a great life in the real world. They aren't as nice as we are.

Bye Ruff. Thanks for all the memories, the gateways, the explosives, the triceratops, the flying moocows, and thats all I feel like listing. Oh and is the Gateway forum still on? I have a plot twist...
