Doodles have City/State names?

This site does the same thing...Its asks your location but when I listed the very big city(not sure how thats too specific) I was in I was told it was too specific and remove or I could get banned.

Theres a big difference between a person saying where they are from and a made up character on a game named after a city/state. Like you can really go look for a doodle named city/state in that particular city/state. A real person on the other hand, thats a different story.

The point is....you shouldnt get in trouble for saying something that the game allows. If your gonna get in trouble for saying a state/city then they should pull all the doodle names that are city/states.

Out of the many conversations I have had and seen, I have never seen anyone talk about their doodle named Jersey or Utah. It is blocked for a reason. How is TT suppose to know when you are talking about your doodle named city/state and when your giving out personal info? So avoid the controversy and just filter it out period. I agree with this. I am a parent with kids that play. TT has these filters in place to protect the children on this game and themselves. Who can blame them. I certainly don't

Dont get me wrong...Im a parent too and I surely dont want my kids saying where they live but what im getting at is if you can get in trouble for saying "Nevada" with that being your doodle name then they shouldnt have Nevada as an option for a doodle name.

Well I dont know anyone that talks about thier doodle by name. I see what your getting at but TT is only protecting our children and themselves and for that I have no qualms about make believe characters with state/city names and TT filtering out us, real life people, saying real life city/state names. How are they to know when we are giving out personal info and talkin doodles?

Hi Everyone!
I have a doodle named Orlando. I have never been suspended for saying my doodle's name nor have any of my sf when referring to my doodle. This is a good topic however, as I have a friend that was suspended for saying they were "going to Orlando next week."
The explaination she got for her suspension was that it may have been an attempt to meet a stranger. I think that they do look for more than just a state or city. I could be wrong.
Another friend was suspended for saying that she had been away on a business trip, in lets say, NYC as example. I don't think this was fair as she was no longer in NYC & if she was on a business trip she was clearly an adult.

As a parent I am glad tt has filters to protect children that are playing. But As strict as they can be with suspending people for saying certain things I just dont understand why they would have some of these names for the doodles. Doodles are suppose to be like pets right? Who would really name their pet with names like Connecticut, Florida Philadelphia or Ohio. There is a lot of funnier doodle names I can think of that they could add that would be more appropiate for a pet name.

Interesting... Once I saw a doodle named "Montgomery" I guess there are other city/state names too.

i named my doodle georgia once and once i said it and i didnt get kicked off. mabye because georgia is a girls name 2

Now why would they let you put city/state names?
That makes no since.
But I think it's funny myself because they ban people for saying state/city names without even knowing if it's heir doodles.
That's just funny to me to ban someone for saying their doodles name.
