Any reason to train more than 1 trick for my doodle?
I have maxxed dance for my doodle, giving me +20 laff in battle.
Is there any useful/practical reason for training other tricks? I know that if I trained speak, I could get +22, (an extra +2 over dance), but besides that...? I know for the fun of having a doodle do tricks, that's great, and I'll probably buy the tricks to have them, but was just wondering if there was some practical reason to have more than 1 maxxed? |

Maxing jump is a great idea for a new toon in which those 10 points are a matter of remaining in battle or looking down at your feet in the playground. I have a friend whos doodle is only maxed in dance and it also happens to be the doodles favorite trick. He performs eight times out of ten. If you want to max your doodle in another trick ... I would suggest either jump, beg or play dead. I love having a doodle maxed in play dead. It comes in really handy when the last set of cogs have been engaged and an invasion hasn't started yet ... it's great for stalling ... buying time. My doodle will perform play dead in batte many times before becoming tired. When my doodle is tired ... he will still jump for me which is GREAT. And if you want to max these tricks quickly, I would highly suggest joining The Doodle Stop. Good Luck!!!

Yes well done on maxing 'Dance' second longest trick to max, I wouldnt bother trying to Max 'Speak'
If dance get's you reliable and regular hits from doodle in battle then all is fine. However like the above said 'Jump' Altho only 10laffs (half of Dance), is much more reliable and tires your Doodle less. I have two completely maxed Doodles but never use Dance or Speak, mainly Jump, Beg, and sometimes Play Dead. In battle I'm lucky to get on successfull 'Dance' out of 7 tries, for 20 laffs then doodle is usually tired for rest of battle after. However using 'Jump' in solo sections, I have sucessfully done upto 7 'Jumps' in a row successfully, this is 70laffs. Average ratio, if I lure 10$ for 4 rounds, and I expect to get 30 out of 40 everytime. So decision is yours, if you have the persevance to max another trick I would do 'Jump', but if you had enough of playing with doodle then don't bother. 'Keep it Kool ' |

As stated above, not all tricks are the same. Once they are maxed there are still easy tricks (jump) and hard tricks (speak). They will affect how quickly your doodle tires and how reliably they will perform.
You have one high end trick maxed, which is a great start, but personally I would have one or two more maxed tricks to give you some choices for reliability and range of the TU points. There will be times that you HAVE to have that 20 or you will surely die... but if all you need is a few more points to feel comfortable, go with the jump every time. |

The reason is to bring your doodle to its full potential.
In that case, why don't you just max throw and not use any other gags? If your feel training is a waste of time. No need for your toon to train anymore once you get the wedding cake. Why waste time getting the geyser, opera singer, peresntation, high dive, train, or toontanic? Its all a waste of time then, you already have a good hitting wedding cake! Same reasoning that you as a toon don't want just to have one gag track. Doodle would like to learn more, expand their horizons. Also don't you want to see the cuteness in your doodle as your beloved companion obeys all your commands and performs various tricks? |
