Since the attendance is rapidly declining, Rhino and I are collaborating on ideas for changing the schedule and events. Some key points so far:

We aren't big fans of having an event EVERY DAY of the week. People need time to work on what they want, without feeling bad about missing an event. (I've had quite a few members tell me this themselves.)

We also don't care for the times that events are scheduled for, especially Mon thru Fri. In my opinion, they are too early. Most of the members are eating supper with their families at the time events are scheduled to take place. I believe the times should be moved up during the week by 2 hours. That gives kids time to do homework, chores, eat, etc.

There are laff point tasks, such as fishing and gardening, that I don't believe should be scheduled at all, since these are tasks noone can really help another with. When fishing takes place now, too many members stand around and talk, while others complain about it.

What I want you all to do is to reply and tell me what you think about the above mentioned items. All comments will be taken into consideration. If you don't want to express your feelings on the forum, feel free to PM Me and Rhino about it.

I can move the times up to 8:30, because at 9 a lot of people are getting off of the computer. Well, that's if we get enough votes for 8:30.

I would prefer 4:30 because i'am usally on the computer then and not 8:30.But that wouldn't work out with other people due to sports and homework.

What I'm thinking of is moving the boss runs to Saturday's and Sunday's; with 2 runs of VP/CJ one day, and CFO/CEO the other day. The first run would be in the morning, and the other in the evening. This would give people a chance to do 2 runs for the suit lvl's, instead of just one a week. Also, if someone isn't able to make it in the evening, then the morning time may work out better for them.

Saturday's:
VP: 9am CST (10am EST) & 7pm CST (8pm EST)
CJ: 10am CST (11am EST) & 8pm CST (9pm EST)

Sunday's:
CFO: 9am CST (10am EST) & 7pm CST (8pm EST)
CEO: 10am CST (11am EST) & 8pm CST (9pm EST)

I agree wholeheartedly. It just seems silly to have it EVERY night first of all, since if someone misses that event, they feel terrible. Also, the times are always when I'm eating dinner. It's the same for most EST times. If we change the times, by the time the event starts, people will be back from sports and/or dinner. Thanks for the thread Featherzapper .

You betcha! I have tons of ideas, but I'm not going there until this part is settled.

FZ, I would like to see this one take effect personally. Weekends do work out better as you and others have said the current time does not allow for RL interruptions into TT....lol. Seriously though with better weather (for us northerners) just around the corner evenings get tied up quickly and having 4 runs on the weekend lets us try to work in a run or 2 a little more easily. Just an FYI I don't mind 4 toon Boss battles and am getting better at 5 toon CEO.

my family finishes dinner at seven and then cleans it, so i rarely get to come to meatings. i have been a member for 2 weeks and have onley been at 2 events! we should move it up to 5:00 EST (wate, what time zone do most of us live in?)

What about the times I posted above for weekends? Will those work for you?

I like that. Plus then maybe like, Racing Monday, Fishing Wednesday, and Golfing Friday...plus the beanfest Sunday...right? Or maybe Racing on Monday AND Tuesday to let people get the Grand Prix races AND the regular races.

Thursday can be an off day, or maybe we can do something fun, like a Thug Thursday run (those are fun).

Personally, the best time for me would probably be 7:00pm Central, since that's after Dinner and before bed. Although Monday's & Wednesday's I have activities all evening, I could make Tuesday and Friday's events if they began at 7pm. I agree that 6pm is too early. I am usually still doing homework or eating dinner at that time.

PS: to stelebob: What state do you live in? Most people are in Eastern, with the least amount of people in Mountain time.

Fishing is a laff pt task that someone must do on their own. It doesn't matter how many toons are there with you at the time, noone can put a species you need on the end of your fishing pole. I don't think this should even be a clan event. The whole idea of revamping the schedule is so most weekdays are event free.

That is true.

Ok, my idea for a schedule:
Monday & Tuesday's: Racing beginning at 7:00pm
Wednesday: Golfing beginning at 7:00pm
Thug Thursday??

Then your weekend Schedule...

Beautiful, Feather. I would really like the runs for the morning. It would help me lots, for I can't attend the current times a lot. Knowing that I could actually attend, I would jump at getting my merits and bucks now. Late nights gathering merits and cogbucks--mashed together with a morning VP/CFO. Sounds like a real plan. All the better if it really happens. Also, let's keep in mind that there are less toons on in the mornings; less randoms to mingle with, and less clan havoc.

Exactly!!! I have tons of ideas, but won't put any of them here until the time is right.
