TTRH people:

I went to the TTRH fishing run today at 6:00pm Central Time. This was my first TTRH event ever. There were about seven or eight toons there. Most of the toons went off into a corner and started SF chatting like crazy. Only one or two were ACTUALLY fishing. I waited over twenty minutes, and hardly anybody ever took the pier to fish.

What really upset me was the mood of the toons. I said "I can't understand you" "Use the speedchat". One toon, Flappy (I believe), told me "You Stink" and "Please go away". He is a TTRH member. I dunno if this is against the rules or not. A bunch of the other toons (who were mainly TTRH members) were rude (in general) to me. No "How you doing", "Hi", NOTHING. I did not feel welcome, I felt like I was popping their little bubble.

I just wanted to let the staff of this clan know that I will try ONE more TTRH run, and if this happens again, I will be leaving the clan.

If you were at the run, please feel free to post...

One toon was trying to cheer me up (he was a Brown Mouse), But I didn't believe him, because everyone else (six or so toons) were NOT being kind.

That's unlike Flappy. He was probably joking with you. I know Flappy as a great guy and a real joker. All of the TTRH are really nice people. I believe the brown mouse was Rhinoflipper. He is about the nicest toon you'll find running along the streets. Yes, the TTRH tends to like to chat, but the thing is, it could have been about something important. Something that needed to be talked about and pming wouldn't do the trick.

I'm sure your next experience will be much better and that TTRH will include you as much as possible.

I was there (Crazy Slappy Featherzapper - pink mouse) and fished two different times. The light blue dog that said 'You Stink' was Flappy. He does that for fun, never in harm. I'm sorry you took it the wrong way. When I wasn't fishing, it was because I had several members asking me to check into something for them. You should have noticed my toon falling asleep several times, which is when I was doing that. I personally do not consider racing, golfing, or fishing a major event. Those are all for 'fun'. The ones I consider to be more 'strict' are the boss runs. If you'd like to SF some of the members, please post some codes in the SF forum.

I was the brown mouse, and I was quite angry at Flappy also. He just does it for fun, but I'm going to have a talk with him . None of us were trying to be mean to you. And yes, we will ease up on the chat a little, and use friendier speedchat phrases.

Sorry for ranting. I did not realize that Flappy was joking around with me. He seemed like he really ment it. Everyone seemed to be in a really bad mood, no one seemed to welcome me execpt you Rhinoflipper.

The pink mouse was probably the only one fishing, Flappy fished a little bit, along with some random (or maybe he was a member) named "Bobby".

I just think that if y'all act this way towards all new members, they will all leave. I will try some of the other events later in the week.

I'm sorry that happened. We try to keep it as active as possible, but we sometimes slip up. I hope your next runs will be better.

I really did think that by means of my old "Tally" thread, and the rants we've been having, that you guys would have figured that chatting in the corner, with people who can't understnad you, isn't really fun. I understand you guys like talking, but I believe at the core of the event, (15 minutes in) you should try and interact with the members. Then, when people start leaving, you should be able to talk, etc. since no one else really is there to care. My opinion.

Thank you for understanding. I totally agree with you. If I was allowed to TF people, I would, but I can't, so that is one of the reasons that it makes me so mad.

I will try and make future runs...hopefully they will be alot better.

I was fishing, and I admit, I like sf chat. I like talking to my sf's. I had just re-sf'd Flappy, so that's why we were talking so much. I missed having him not being a sf...

Usually, I gotta say, the three events most clans don't have (racing, golf, and fishing) are quite chatty. Come to boss battles for less of that. Trust me, I HATE having people non-stop chatting during a boss battle, or glitching.

Don't worry, they will. I can assure everyone will greet you happily. You just caught us at one of those bad times...which should be there, but sometimes it happens.

Sorry for the SF chat filled run. I have discussed this with the other staff members, and we are reviewing what we can do to keep the sf chatting down to a minimum. (Of course to stop doing it ourselves....)

Why not a simple rule, like the CCG, "Keep SF chat to a minimum"!! Even during fishing, racing, and golfing, it is very distracting. Many of the toons were not fishing. It REALLY upset me the way that these people treated me, and it will probably take me a few days to try the TTRH again.

I have an idea!You can simply talk to your sf's while doing golf or fishing.But still use some speed chat phrases for people who don't have sf's

Flappy, aww, he was just kidding. Don't worry. Flappy plays around and jokes like that all the time. Nothing to worry about. I hope your next run is better.
