GSW Tips and Tricks Master List

This is a master list of all the GSW tips and tricks I can think of. Please feel free to add to the list. The submiter's name will appear in parenthesis next to the tip they have submitted.

- You can get the most out of anivils by dropping them on a toon that has just driven over a speed boost. (Sir Rufflegoose)

- It is best to use pies on your opponent right before there is a sharp turn they need to make. (Sir Rufflegoose)

- If you are (currently) winning and have a speed boost as your "weapon", try to save it for when someone drops an anivil on your head. (it will help you regain your "lost" speed) (Sir Rufflegoose)

- It is best to place banana peels over speed boost arrows or near a wall most toons bump into while making a sharp turn. (Sir Rufflegoose)

-When you have a boost (gift) and you're driving over a boost, (on the track) activate your other boost (When you hear the grinding noise) for a super result. (supersocks & danniiel)

-If you have a pie and someone is right in front of you, if you are lucky and he gets anvilled, use the pie. It will circle around him until the anvil is gone and then splat him. (danniiel)

-Using 2 pies (dont ask how) on one person will result in both pies circling around the person and hitting him one after another. (danniiel)

-Always save those banana peels for the speed boosts and hide them inside presents. (Hero)

-Whenever you throw a pie do not drive into the pie or it will splat you. (Wacky Crunchynugget)

-At the bridge in "City Circuit", normal or rev, whenever you fly over the bridge, have a banana peel, and are going to get a air present. When you are about to get the air present press "ctrl" and you will leave an air banana. Plus you will leave a little surprise for your opponents. (This will also work on rural tracks, it doesn’t matter if the tracks are normal or rev.) (Wacky Crunchnugget)

-Try to stay in 2nd place for most of the race; if you're in 1st, and 2nd place is right behind you, losing 5mph for 2nd place is excellent insurance for anvils. But remember, if you are about 5 - 10 seconds ahead, you don't want to lose that; just keep on going. Also, while you are in 2nd, save anvils and speed boosts for the end of the race, then sneakily get by 1st before he knows whats going on. (Proffesa Pie)

-Whenever you find someone using the "stay in second place most of the race" strategy, you continue using the strategy even when your opponent's kart has almost stopped.(somewhere at 20-40 MPH) You immediately hit the gas or if you have a item booster you can use it. (but not before or in a turn.) (Wacky Crunchynugget)

-Try to test and see when you need to start turning with your car on practice tracks. Knowing your cars abillty is very useful for not crashing on turns. There have been so many roadsters that crash on every turn because they don't time it correctly. (Your Friendly Neighborhood Bum)

-In races like Blizzard Blv. rev. there are certain walls where you can slide on them and not lose any speed. Once you master that skill it is very hard to lose.(Megachomp)

- If you see a boost, (Not from Gifts) check extra to make sure there is no banana peel there. (Kitten With Additude)

- If you get anviled, NEVER use a bannana after that, it will steal the 10 or 15 mph you have gained because you are on top of it. (Kitten With Additude)

- If you get hit by a anvil when you were on a boost, NEVER GO BACK TO THE BOOST. It slows you down. (Kitten With Additude)

- If you are anxious to get the roadster, skip buying the TUV. You will end up saving 2500 tickets. (Sir Rufflegoose)

-Also save boosts for when you are about to run over a regular (non-giftbox) boost and wait until you go over the ground boost and you hear the grinding noise that indicates you are picking up speed and use the boost you got from the present.

Notes: You may reword. That was a HUGE run-on sentence. And if you use a boost before you hear the picking-up-speed noise, it will pretty much be a waste of a boost.

-If you have a pie and someone is right in front of you, if you are lucky and he gets anvilled, use the pie. It will circle around him until the anvil is gone and then splat him.

-Using 2 pies (dont ask how) on one person will result in both pies circling around the person and hitting him one after another.

-Using an anvil right before someone finishes and zooming in front of this person and winning will make this person EXTREMELY mad.

anvils

you can hit the 2nd place player with an anvil if you are the 1st place driver. Hold that anvil and as soon as you hear the anvil sound about to land on you - drop your anvil and you will hit the second place racer. Great use of an anvil.

Always save those banana peels for the speed boosts and hide them inside presents

If you see a person warp around a track - don't race with them again - they are a cheater. don't know if they are using a bug in game or a hack - but why bother?

you must have missed my droping the anvil on the 2nd place driver tip. There I repackaged it into a single tip vs two lines.

Here's a trick i learnt myself while racing a monkey, here i go, whenever u find someone using the stay in second place most of the race stratigy u do the same thing then when your opponent's kart has almost stoped(somewhere at 20-40 MPH) u immedeitly hit the gas or if u have a item booster u can use it(but not before a turn or in a turn)
