Mean Monkey Cheating!!!!!!!

Cheating takes all the fun out of toontown. One of the best things about toontown is being proud of your laff once you max out. If you cheat, you know you didn't earn it and you haven't truly achieved the rank of other toons your laff. I hate GSW cheaters because they knock my best all time records off that took forever to get.

It might be a bad thing because people won't just use it on cheaters. I'm actually agenst it, because tons of low laff toons are going to report high laff toons because they don't want to be their friends and other stupid things. There will be TONS of people getting suspended for no reason then.

I do agree that what that monkey did was wrong and speaking as a mother, if my son was racing and that very same thing happened (which he won't be playing any time soon. He's only 2) I would send a very strongly worded letter to Disney stated what happened and demanding it to be fixed.

Some glitches make the game fun (not the ones that affect other people) but cool glitches like the fishing glitch and flying in DD. Glitches aren't bad, it's just when people use the glitches for the wrong reasons.

Unfortunately I was unable to get a screen shot of this toon as my son was so mad and upset at this, he Alt F4'd before I could do anything.

I think this is SUCH A NASTY thing to do!!!! Especially against a 7 yr old!!!
I had to say to my son that this toon couldn't be very good at racing because he has to cheat to win a race (it didn't make him feel any better though )

Sorry for going on, just needed to vent a bit of my anger about this.

I understand your son's frustration but the thing that needs to be realized in this situation is really simple...

It was ONE race - the odds that it will happen again are very slim.

So the monkey dude cheated...you didn't get a screenshot, nothing you can do about it.

The biggest point of all is really important to me personally. -- When you are playing a online game, you are going to get mad at other ppl, just like you do at Wal Mart or any other supermerket out there. Everyone, INCLUDING SEVEN YEAR OLDS need to understand that this is a public place. Ppl are going to make you mad, and you have to walk away from things like this saying to yourself, "I am the better person, all his bad deeds will catch up with him eventually."

Ppl don't care if this is a child's game - they are going to do what they want, when they want.

Your son being seven, and playing a online game needs to understand ppl are mean and this is great practice for real life problems.

Did I ever say being a public place meant that everyone could cheat? Umm - that is a obvious no. In a public place, people are going to make other people mad.

And, I hate to say this, but ANYTIME a parent puts thier kids on a online game, or a online atmosphere, you are NOT in control of what your child is doing or what happens to your child the minute you, or anyone walks out of sight of the computer. Thats a fact. Things like this are going to happen. In NO WAY did I ever say I apporved of the monkey cheating! It almost seems as if you think I am a cheater / or a nine year old out to get parents.

The point of my previous post was to assure you that stuff like this happens and we just gotta let it go.

To Black Ice:I don't know the cheaters name but I did see someone cheat but not in a race.Though,I've seen toons who got 1 second in a race.

To 7yr old:If you ask your older brother or sister that the monkey is cheating,its one of the good things,telling to the public people,or the people near you something happining.

To the monkey and other cheaters:You must race in the right way,without cheating.Your parents will throw you out if you don't.

The thing the monkey did I did once for ging into the gray and I didnt even mean to. I was turning and I was in the gray. I got back on the track but it never happened to me again thankfully.

These toons are highly known as "glitchers". They like to "glitch" alot in Toontown, including Goofy Speedway. Theres only been a few known "glitches" in Goofy Speedway. The one that your son saw was a "glitch" that made the monkey go high-speed. He then went ahead of your son and went on passing the laps.
The second known "glitch" is 0:01. Nearly happens all the time in Nutty River because its busy. But these people run third-party programs to glitch like this. Its so they can get there name and time up on the board.

Sorry for what happened to your son. It happens to everyone, including myself.

That's wrong of that monkey cheating, but even if you got the name down, you couldn't report him anyway. for example, say ths monkey's name was Fluffy, notice how there's like 20,000 Fluffys in toontown? now, if you got his name, color, species, laff point limit, gags, and etc, then there would be a chance of catching him. sadly, there's nothing you can do.
i once raced with this yellow duck who was obnoxious, rude, and cheated. when we finished, he was all like "i'm as fast as lighting!!" "Ha Ha!" and all that stuff. I didn't know i could report him at the time, though. oh well.

If your son wants to race with me, I would love it! I need to work on the thing. Plus, your son and I would be more than evenly matched - I am a bad driver hehe!

I hate when someone ruins your day after you get high hopes up - especially that time of day when you start to think you're a seven year old.

Anyways, I hope better comes to you and you find that pesky monkey again and set him to justice!

Oh, and before I hit the "Submit Post" button, might I add that you could report the glitch to Toontown? Sure, you don't have the monkey's info, but you do have the info of HOW he cheated. Report it if it makes you feel better - then you can help so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

Those people aren't making Toontown any fun anymore. That's why I SF, or just become normal friend with young kids. Because some people get mad because they don't get things, or are mean. And no I'm not a 50 year old looking on little kids.

Sir Pancake Wonderton- She probably want's her son to be happy, and play a fun game. But with cheaters that doesn't make it fun at all. If you think about it when you were 7 we get mad of the weirdest thing, but that's what 7 year olds do.

People use what are called macros. They speed there toons up to faster than anyone can really want to go >_< they use it to cheat and be the best at a game where you race for fun and there isn't really a reason to race except for laff boosts
