CaptainMac's guide to Goofy Speedway and Racing

Location
Goofy Speedway is accessed through a tunnel in toontown central. It's easy to spot because it looks like a giant tire.

What's Unique about Goofy Speedway
Goofy Speedway is different from all other playgrounds because it is only for fun. You race and customize your kart. In Goofy Speedway there are places to park your kart, new street lights, giant tools, a leader board, and race tracks. All the race tracks have different areas too.

Karts
You start out with 200 tickets to buy your first kart and maybe one customization option like, paint jobs, new tires, hood ornaments, spoilers, rims, and more. The first kart is a Cruiser. The next is a TUV (toon utility vehicle, and then a Roadster. Roadsters are the most expensive(7500 tickets). There are thousands of customization options for your kart which can be different for everybody. The cruiser cost 100 tickets and TUV cost 2500 tickets. There are many different paint jobs to choose from and some people like to have holiday colors on holidays. You can have two different paint jobs on your kart at a time.

Race Tracks
The first race tracks are Screwball Stadium, then Rustic Raceway, City Circuit, Blizzard Boulevard, Corkscrew Coliseum, and finally Airborne Acres. If you goto any track you can see two training tracks which cost no tickets. The other two are ones that must have two players on to play. These switch to different tracks. Example:Screwball Stadium will switch to Corkscrew Coliseum. Try to lean how each racing track works so you can get better at racing as each race track is different and unique in its own way.

RacingWhen you race you must click ok to start or the timer will run out and you will start. To go simply use the up key to go. Hold it longer the faster you'll go. To break hit the back button. To make turns use the left or right arrow keys. If you make a turn it is good to hold the up key with the left or right key to keep up speed. Speed boost helps you go faster. Presents have 1 of 4 things in them, a speed boost, pie, bananna, or anvil. Using these you must press the Ctrl button. For pies try to get upclose to your fellow racer. They will be blinded for a few seconds. Use a bananna on a speedboost and hope the other racer hits it. Use an anvil right when a racer gets on a speedboost to catch up. The anvil will always hit the person in first place. Some people who are have just started racing tend to need help with turns. Try to slow down at fast U turns and curves, as you get better you can figure out how to turn faster and time it right. Example:Turning before it looks right so that you can keep speed and still be in the lead.

Tips for race tracks
When in city circuit try to make sharp turns. In rustic raceway be careful of the bumpy road. In airborne acres don't catch to much air you may slow down. It's slippery in Blizzard Boulevard so try taking only the straight away speedboost as the ones that turn may slow you down or you may bump into the wall. Screwball stadium has only 3 turns so try to time your turns right. When in Corkscrew Coliseum the turns aren't flat on the ground as normal and most people end up hitting the wall and slow down so try to turn ahead of time or keep away from the walls, but not too far away as you want to get the present.

Leader Board
If you win fast and make a record you may find yourself on the leader boards. Winning and making the leader boards may get you 10 to 100 tickets. You'll see Goofy's name up a lot which means someone has not gottin a certain time. Names will reset every day or week and Goofy's name will fill up the leaderboard meaning you will need to get on the leaderboard to fill up spots where his name is.

Goofy's Auto Shop
To buy a Kart go into goofy's auto shop and walk up to one of the monkeys. If you wish to buy a kart click on buy kart if you wish to buy accessories then click on buy accessories. If you buy a new kart and already have one your old kart will be gone. A message will congratulate you on buying your new kart. Tickets are the (money) in goofy speedway and you will need to pay tickets to race in most races.

Schticker book
In your schticker book there will be a section about racing. It keeps track of your best times and you can customize you kart in your book too. If you have not raced in a certain race it will say(N/A). To find your goofy speedway section of your book you will see a wheel. It has Customize, records, and Trophy. So you can customize your kart without going into goofy's auto shop, see your records, and keep track of your trophys.

Trophy
To get trophys you must win races. One trophy is the grand touring mean you must race every race there is. Bronze trophys are usualy one win, silver 10, and golf 100. There are 30 trophys you can get. Every ten you get a laff boost so 3 whole laff boost in goofy speedway.
Trophys to get: 1 speedway race qualified. 10 speedway race qualified. 100 speedway race qualified. 1 rural race qual. 10 rural race qual. 100 rural race qualified. 1 urban race qual. 10 urban race qual. 100 urban race qual. 100 total races qualified. 1 speedway race won. 10 speedway race won. 100 speedway race won. 1 rural race won. 10 rural race won. 100 rural race won. 1 urban race won. 10 urban race won. 100 urban race won. 100 total races won. 1 tournament race won. 5 tournament race won. 25 tournamet races won. 1 tourmanent race qual. 5 tournament race qual. 25 tournament race qual. 1 tournament race swept. 5 tournament race swept. 25 tournament race swept.

Tournament races
Tourmanent races consist of 3 races in a row either City Circuit, Screwball Stadium, and Rustic Raceway or Blizzard Boulevard, Corkscrew Coliseum, and Airborne Acres. Tournament Races are only on Grand Priz mondays. The difference between winning a tournament race and sweeping a tourmanent race is this. Winning one could mean winning 1 of the 3 races. Swept means you must win all 3 in a row. Try doing this with a buddy to make it go faster. Hint:tournament races can also be accessed on silly saturdays.

Grand Prix mondays
Grand Prix mondays only consist of tournament races. If you play a lot and win a lot check out the top toons and see if you made it.
Note:It will only show up mondays so make sure you got the date right.

Tips for when you race on certain tracks
City Circuit: There are many turns so to work around this try to slow down enough to get past turns but still be in the lead.
Screwball Stadium:Most of it is straight but slow down when you get to a turn so you can make it. If you can't affored to slow down start turning within a few feet of the turn(toon feet).
Rustic Raceway:There are some really bad turns so try to slow down but not hitting the break. Try using (must have good timing and know where speedboost are) an anvil on the person(first place) who is on the speedboost so they halt to a stop while you pass them.
Blizzard Buolevard: The track is slipper and using a speedboost on a turn may not help. Try only taking speedboost in the straight aways.
Airborne Acres:If you hit a speedboost try not to catch air as it will slow you down.
Corkscrew Coliseum: There are some turns that go up in the air(can't explain) and it's a good idea to turn early because most people hit the side of the fence and slow.

Track changing guide
Tracks change. Usually it happens this way.
Rustic raceway to Airborne acres.
City Circuit to Blizzard Boulevard.
Screwball Stadium to Corkscrew Coliseum.
There are to spots in which tracks switch. One of these has the tracks going in the opposite direction of which you normally go. There is no back and forth just different directions in which you go. Try to do practice races as these each have tracks(same as ones you desposit tickets in) that will go in one direction. This will help you get the feel of the tracks both ways so you can win a lot more.

Tips on using the presents you get
When you get a bananna put it on a speedboost as said earlier and make sure you know where you put it so you don't accidentally hit your own. When you get a speedboost either use it after someone used an anvil on you while you were on a speedboost or on any parts where you can get a straight shot. Try to get to know where speedboost are so you can drop an anvil on the person in first place to slow them down a lot:this will help you catch up to them. When using a pie always get within 10(toon feet) to hit them so their blinded. Hint: If you know the track good and a pie hits you but not enough to be in your way you'll be fine. Try to turn when a pie hits you as this will ause the pie to hit only half of you so you can see.

More
If you are having trouble with races swept or any race and want to win easy try asking your friends or if you have two accounts get a family member to help. If your family members or friends are busy try to do the practice rounds and try to get a top speed and try to make even better turns. If you have gone on a race and can't find all the races to get the gran touring look at the names because on the 2 races in each racing section the names will change and tickets will cost more. Try to find a district with a lot of people in it. Many people are competitive when it comes to spots and racing is one of them. You may notice some people hitting or bumping into your kart sp either try to make a turn(not too much though) so that you can still keep speed. If someone logs out don't be mad because you have just won the race. Unlike golf you won't have to worry about not winning because someone logged out.

Honestly, I'm not trying to be rude at all but there's already a guide for all of this info (which is fully illustrated). So, just letting you know that.

That guide helps but I didn't see any things about what tickets are worth or what race tracks and tips on how to use the presents and things like that. This was more a "for fun guide" for me to acctually get out and do something usefull. If not oh well it's no big deal I did this more for fun but did want it to help people. Racing came more natural to me and wasn't that hard and really fun. I only did this because I know there are people out there who need help and want to look for advice. I hope this guide helps a little.
