Old Disney Attractions We Liked
Hey all!
Found this site a long time ago and thought I would post the URL to it. The thread about 'google search on ToonTown Online' got the old brain cells working again! www.yesterland.com They have some interesting reading there. Faves of yesterday:
- People Mover - Flying Saucers (wasnt alive when these were aroundbut it looked cool) - Keel Boat Rides - Country Bear Jamboree - Circle Vision  - Tahitian Terrace - Captain EO ( You are beautiful, but without a key to unlock it. And that is my gift to you. ) - Subs - Skyways probably a few more but Im just so darn sad now

I made the mistake of checking this link out at work, it nearly got me in trouble, as I was so caught up in reading it all, that I wanted to do nothing else.
What an awesome site, I can't wait to go back and read more, I'm sure I did not get it all the first time.

It's a wonderful site. The one that was closed recently that I miss is Mr. Toad. The reasoning was that it wasn't as recognizable as Pooh. My question is - what is? ::chuckle::
It's neat to read about the old Frontierland and the gunfights and such. Thanks! |

I spent many summer vacations as a kid at Disney World, and am now living 40 minutes from Disneyland.
For any of you Disney Fans, I HIGHLY recommend a quarterly magazine called "The E Ticket". It focuses on the classic days of Disneyland while Walt was still alive. Fantastic pictures of old rides and wonderful articles with original ride designers. Behind the scenes images, aerial shots of the first park under construction. It's run by two brothers who live in Anaheim since the park opened. It's fantastic. http://www.the-e-ticket.com/ My biggest loss? Post Sept 11, they will no longer let guests ride in the ****pit of the monorails. Sniff Sniff. When I was a small, small child I would always ask to ride in front, no matter how long the wait. The last time I rode in front was a couple years ago. It's sad. -- Cat Man Du.
