New Movie: Max, a ToonTownstory of Pain
I've finally completed my second ToonTown movie - Max, A ToonTown Story of Pain.
It tells a tale of Max, a gentle toon who looses the love of his life to those despicable cogs. Runs around 4 1/2 minutes and comes it an a tad over 24Megs. Video comression using divx 5.05. absolute fun,
well done... if you do not have the divex codec required go here, divx codec download the bundle and install the codec only, UNTICK the player in the installation selection box, the codec will be installed and windows media player will find it just fine... Nice! Very nice!
I have a bit of trouble understanding the cogs, but then again I've always had trouble understanding Donald in the cartoons. The creativity required to take a game with quite limited abilities and use it as a vehicle to tell a story amazes me! Max (the bunny, not the duck!) |

I too had a bit of trouble understanding what the Cogs said...but it has always been my feeling that Daisy was doing ultra-secret spy work for the Toon side! Even if she *has* been captured, I am sure she will be noticing everything about her surroundings and remembering everything, to tell all us Toons as soon as she can!

Great job, Gok!
Any chance you could post the script for us, though? LIke others, I had issues understanding the cogs. Could only make sout for sure the first thing said by a cog - the rest was jibberish to me with my cruddy hearing. :-(

Awesome movie it was so emotional I felt so sad for Max but istead of questioning the cogs you might want to check in Donalds Dock, that's an awefully big boat.. makes one wonder what is under the deck hmmmmmm......

Don't worry about streaming it, it's 24Megs long. Right click the download and "save target as" it to your computer somewhere. Then double click it once downloaded. At least then you'll get error messages if there are problems or the connection is borked, etc.

Guess the cogs were easy for me to understand since I already knew what they were saying. I'll add subtitles for the cogs when I get home from work and look for KB so the replacement file can be posted.... or I could ring in sick and do it now!!
