I did not find it funny at all. I guess to be a MOD you have to also be immature. I did not want to wipe out TTC and clicked NO but the joke continued anyway. Oh, come on...you can't take a joke? A little light humor. So just because we are moderators for the site (and yes, I asked some of the other mods if they thought it would be OK to do as a joke) doesn't mean that we have to lack a sense of humor. I would hope you think it better for everyone that your moderators DO have a sense of humor. LOL You didn't seriously think a moderator of this site would ACTUALLY wipe out the ttc.com site database did you, much less put it on the FRONT PAGE? This site is here for people to have FUN sometimes, and yes, moderators like to have a little fun now & again, too. Nothing immature about what I did...just being silly. Lighten up & laff a little. If it were truly harmful, don't you think that this earlier this afternoon (If you look I made the post at 2:32 p.m. CST)one of the OTHER mods would've removed it by now? The Joke doesn't carry on for so long that it gets annoying. Sure mods have to be responsible & mature. But they're still peeps who have fun.

I could see that a little practicle joke would be fine and dandy if you want to be a mod and wanted to delete the site. BUT I chose NO and it continued the joke anyway and led me to believe that I had indeed deleted something that I did not want to delete.
When at first I read it and as I continued out of curiosity, I thought to myself 'Now why would they want you to delete the site to be a mod?' Before I pushed any buttons I thought about it for a moment;
1) You would need to delete the site in order to maybe download another type of program (such as you do in some tests or beta) so that you can better monitor and edit at will.
*But indeed if this were correct you would be informed of the reason for removing one program/site and installing another for monitoring purposes. So this could not have been the case.
2) Or maybe it was some sort of a test to see how dedicated to the site you were and thus making you 'worthy' to be a mod.

In any case I chose NO and clicked it. But the joke continued, and that is where I thought it was not funny.
Yes I do realize it to be a joke but for anyone who indeed is in earnest about wanting or not wanting to be a mod, I feel it to be in poor taste and not professional conduct even if it is just a "joke".

Well, if you're gonna take it that seriously, I suggest if I or everyone else leaves a big red button next time, don't push it. LOL. It wouldn't be a joke if I let people get out of it that quickly. LOL. If you had been here very long you would probably know how many times, I, as a moderator, get asked "Can I become a moderator?" Apparently, you're the only one who didn't know it was a joke, and I'm sorry if you took it the wrong way. Everyone who knows me on this site KNOWS 100% that I will never give anything with viruses. I will never give you anything that will delete this site. I've been with this site over a year & I love this site, which is why I chose to become a moderator. And yes, I have a sense of humor (apparently not the same humor as yours, but that's ok). I should feel a sense of accomplishment in the fact that it was SOOO believable. I never expected it to be, and as you can see from the responses, nobody else expected it to be either. Good thing you weren't here when Evil Kid Bugs (one of our site's administrators) "held the site for ransom" & made us pay him with carrots!!!....hehehehe. It was all in good fun, LP.
