But lure stuns cogs which means when you hit them, it adds points to the attack. Uh, that didn't make sence didn't it? Sorry, I'm bad at typing =[ |

Choose lure.
TUless is alright. You will just sometimes get occasional stinking, the blunt "I think you should choose toonup.", and the ever popular "Let's use toonup! I don't believe this!" I have looked at people's battle reports, the kind where they post all the experience they got when they max an HQ or something important. Every person with toonup only got around 12 to 20 experience points. That's not a lot of tooning up. |

Ask yourself ...
(a) Do you mind what people think of you when they check your gags? (b) Which gag you personally think is the most useful? (c) Which gag is easier to train? (in the long term not important) (d) Soloing buildings and factories is easier for you if you have lure (very useful later in the game). (e) At higher levels of the game, TT is very much a team game and you cannot progress at higher levels of TT without playing as a team member. Toons having TU is important to other players. Saying that, if one out of four people does not have TU, it's not too much of a problem. All my toons either have no drop or no trap because I personally think lure and TU are both important. But that's my personal opinion. If I really really had to choose between lure and TU as my last choice, I would go for TU.

I think you should go for lure. You can solo buildings and what not and plus lure is most likely to save someone than toon up. Lets say everyone disconnects at 7th floor of a 9 but one other person. Oh, boy you b oth are lureless! You'd be getting hit A LOT and if toon up ever missed it wouldn't be looking too good, especially if you loose moles, cogball, and/or the maze. Toon up is important but rarely. You ussaually don't need it more than once during an entire 9, or a mint, or a da, or a cfo really, depends on vp, not really needed in cj, and only like 2 times in ceo, and during an entire fac you don't really need it at all. Lure, however, is needed all the time. It doesn't really matter if most people have it but there are more lureless than there are tuless. Plus, its a life saver when you want to solo and not use 39483 LOMs.
Plus, being tuless I've never regretted my decision. I have been griefed before or told "I think you should choose tu" but it never really bothers me because it doesn't matter what THEY think, only what you yourself thinks. |

Think of how you like to play.
I, for one, don't like to wait for people. I can solo buildings and the factory pretty easily with lure. If I didn't have lure, it would be much more difficult to do those things. Some people will bother you about not having toonup. If you have friends in the game that you play with a lot, it won't matter if you don't have toonup. It is a difficult decision for sure. If I were in your shoes, knowing what I know now, I would pick lure and just get a really good doodle in DDL when I could afford one. |
