Save big gags til last floors! Stock up on lure and pray it hits ![]() But if you're trying to just work squirt, yeah I'd probably go with a group if I were you. I couldn't solo buildings til I was 105 laff :/ and I'm tuless and had all my gags maxed! |

I've been working my sons toon (64 laff) by soloing buildings since he was about 48 laff. When the toon is littler like that, I plant up to the level 4 lure to increase accuracy, and lured all the cogs on every floor. Starting with 2 and 3 stories on the "easy" streets (the streets in daisy's, donalds dock, and minnies that connect to toontown central have lower level cogs inside MOST of the time), his toon can now solo up to four stories in the Brrr fairly easily. Once they are lured, always use gags which can guarantee the "kill". So if you still go green on the easier streets, don't move on, until you can get through the buildings with very few hits on your toon!
Now on my lureless toon I had to wait until I was higher in laff to withstand some hits, but even lureless toons can solo buildings really well, they just need their gags a little higher to start. My lureless generally drops her way through most buildings. |

Soloing buildings without unites or SOS cards requires excellent lure. I wouldn't even try it without a big magnet and at least 5,000 experience in that track.
You're better off finding one other toon who has your interest (gag building) and doing buildings with that person, because you can toonup each other when needed and take down larger cogs together with two smaller gags. |

I solo all the time including the entirety of the Sellbot factory and level five buildings. Lure is the most important when you start tackling buildings in the Brggh and DDL. It is important to save big enough gags to deal with the cogs on the top floors. As you increase, and depending on your gag track, you can also find quick hits that get you through the lower floors. Search out the document which describes points required to kill different level cogs. Learn what works best on each, and, when you start out, expect to go sad from time to time and do the walk of shame. Good luck. Soloing can be a fast way to get things, it can also be exciting at first, but ultimately gets boring. The random quality of going with other toons adds some fun to saving buildings.
One other thing. Set goals and stick to them. When it starts to get boring or mundane it oft times sees you through and allows you to stay the course. Good luck and have fun... ![]() |

I solo buildings regularly. Sometimes 5 lvl ones.
It's all in the gags. My 34 laff Sell uber can solo a lvl 4 bldg with his maxed throw squirt lure and sound - lure is organic. I've taken a 30s laffer with maxed throw and squirt through a 2-level without lure. As a 73 laffer you should not have died so early on. The first question is what level your lure is. If you arent yet up to goggles or have organic blue magnet, then dont try over two levels. The moment you have goggles things change and 3 levels should be a breeze and 4 possible. Be selective in where you take hits and where you use the big gags. On a floor with two lvl 7s, use elephant or fog and take the hits, then lure and use hose or pie on each. Make note of which cogs hit the hardest. For example I'd be more worried about a backstabber or micromanager than I am of a Yesman or a Big Wig. Respect the rules of lure bonus. For buildings this is how it works: The first cogs already on the floor when you arrive all have a bonus. The first set out the elevator (ie the second wave) do not unless one stands alone. USUALLY if a second set come out of the elevator (a third wave, which can happen on the top floor in some buildings), they will have a bonus.

Looks like its been covered pretty well
but just to emphasize... good lure is a must, organic blue magnet is highly recommended. Once you have maxed the blue magnet being organic isn't so important but it will miss every so often and misses can translate to sad pretty quickly. You can always replant trees anytime you please so don't get hung up on which lvl 7 you are going to want. Take advantage of the organic bonus and plant what is most useful for you now. |
