Actually, another trap thrown will cause the train track to go poof! just like other traps thrown on the same cog . So if train is put up it's worthwhile saying "you should choose a different gag".

Nice guide though

Great guide

Awesome guide. I know it took a lot of time and effort. "Thanks a Million"

I haven't been able to play much lately and have been playing my smaller toons when I get to play. I haven't been able to test out all the ins and outs of the lvl 7 gags so this guide is a real plus.

I have questions I didn't see answered in the guide. Say you have 200 pts to go toward earning a new lvl 7 gag and u pick one from your tree. What happens to the points? Do they stay the same, or do they go back to 500? Also, if you have a lvl 7 gag in your pouch, but need more points to earn the spare, can you pick your spare lvl 7 gag? I think I know the answer to the second question would be no, but I'm not sure about the first question.

Thanks again for a really well done guide.

Sourmash, picking a level 7 gag from your tree has no effect on the amount of gag points you have or still need. You can not pick a spare level 7 gag if you have one in your pouch. I have been able to use 3 of my organic level 7 gags in one day this way; use the one I am carrying, earn and pick new ones.

This is why I think there ABSOLUTELY needs to be a phrase that CLEARLY says the gag is organic.
But what if the cogs are lured and I can't kill the other one? I would normally just use a cream pie on the same cog as the organic cake as long as no one needs a toon-up. I figure it's better than knocking the other out of its lure and better than passing because I can get some gag experience...

Thank You

Really nice guide! I've only thrown one wedding cake (the day I got it) and didn't realize it hit more than 1 cog because I only used it on one. My favorites are the train and the geyser, but I haven't seen a cruise ship used.

Thanks for the info!

This is perfectly ok. What I am talking about is when there are others things that can be done and someone puts another gag on my cake instead of doing other things.

I see this most on the last sets in the DA office. We kill 2 cogs on the first turn, then have two cogs left on the second and toons need a toon-up. Ill put my cake on one of the 11s, two other toons will cake/cream the other, and the other toon will cream when they could easily toon-up. Its scenarios like this that make it annoying.

Or when there are a couple 11s and a couple 8s lured and toons cream with my cake on the 11s when they could cloud the 8 instead and move us along faster.

There are all sorts of combinations that will work, and usually there is no problem getting through any part of the game with all of the gags in your bag. I don't think I ever use 40 gags in any one thing. But gag conservation is a key thing here. Managing gags not only ensures that you can survive against the unkown cogs at the end, but it also makes things go MUCH FASTER. Sure you coul waste gags and ty to get extra points, but frankly im trying to get finished as quick as possible.

Wonderful guide...thank you!!
Just a fast word though. Some players on here are quite young. I know my little sister isn't calculating hit damage when she plays. She knows just out of habit to follow what everyone else is doing. If you cake a lured 11...shes gonna cream with you. If you say, "Come check out my garden", well she thinks she just got an invite.

Keep up the good work....and have fun!!

I like to use the the phrase "Come check out my garden" after selecting the gag, it doesn't always work but I think the more I use it the more others understand to know which gag is organic from a certain player.
