I always found it rude, (When I used to play) I always fished in DDL. There was a bunny stalking me (yes, reported, was just told to "x them and move on.") and would always steal my "lucky" dock.
I would steal it back as soon as he got off of it. He got really really mad. (That was my goal, to get back at him.)So, no, I don't think it's fair. and if you can, (I would) steal it back =] |

My gosh it makes me so mad! I use to be all nice and whatever with randoms who were rude and stuff but I'm so tired of it, now I just yell at them until they either move or steal it back. Its so annoying when I was clearly fishing there and you just take my dock, esspecially after hours of fishing!

well....
I kind of have mixed emotions.I think it is unfair when the same toon stays on the fishing dock forever (for river reasons)but if you are in somewhere like crazyham them why would it bother u...move....but I get annoyed too

Well I don't really have a problem with switching docks but if I was pretty comfortable and with a good bingo group, I get mad.
If you see someone standing at the fisherman you should get the hint that the spot is taken. |

I do have a problem with toons stealing the dock I was at. However, they must figure if you leave, it's free for them. Why should they leave it for you when they don't have to? I have done this a few times, but if it happens nowadays, I would probably just change districts or docks if there is one open, unless it's Wednesday and there is a good group. Then I complain.
First off, I'd just like to say that if I made this thread in the wrong place, I'll ask that one of the mods move it.
Anyway, do you think its fair that when you are fishing and you get up quickly to sell your fish, another toon jumps in and steals your dock. Of course, its really no problem to go elsewhere and find another one but if you were in the middle of fish bingo it would be a hassle. Its happened to be lots of times and I've been a witness to it. If there's an open spot, you can get in then people usually don't make suhc a big deal but if that was your only spot available, it could get oyu mad. In conclusion, do you think that its fair that a toon jumps in and steals your spot or is it just plain unfair? Maybe the toon hadn't seen you fishing there and just thought there was an empty spot.. or maybe they knew.
I personally say move your feet lose your seat. If there are a lot of people around then I don't think any one person has dibs on a dock just b/c they WERE there. If you have to leave to sell your fish that dock is open game. I'm sorry if I sound rude but that's just the way I see it. It's just like in the CEO when toons get annoyed b/c they think their seltzer table was stolen after they left to get snacks. If your standing by prepared to jump back on or if your not on it then you don't have dibs. Other people have "stolen" my dock and I just shrug and go elsewhere b/c I know I'm in a crowded place and other people want to fish too. |

Now I'm on the border line with this.
One part of me thinks that yes, it is rude because if a toon sees you standing at the fisherman they should make the assumption that the dock is taken. And also because Wednesdays are bingo days if you're at the intermission I try to not catch anything unless the timer is near 0 - However the other part tells me not to make a big deal out of it unless I'm at the intermission. in a way, they have a right to take your spot, its just not very nice. |

OMG, you guys are too much. Does this mean that every building you have been in is your building, or every race track you have used is yours, to be left untouched until you come back? Get over yourselves, TT and all it acitivties are for all. Just because you have been fishing on a dock does not make it yours. I'm sure that's why there are fishing buckets with 20 fish limits, to keep control freaks from camping out on one dock forever. The only thing that is yours in TT is your estate, nothing else.
