Thanks from one horse to another for your fishing plan and tips. I caught the Siamese cat fish in 13 buckets with your advice. I don't think I will ever get the ultra rares (I just don't have the time). But it was fun finding a new fish after years of trying. Thanks again!

I think you can get the ultras, just don't try to do it all in one day. Just do 25 buckets a day for 6 months. I am sure maxing fishing by September would be awesome.

Agreed, every little bit helps as far as fishing goes. Fishing marathons just make it happen sooner lol.

Consider, when you are waiting on friends, waiting on scheduled runs, between scheduled runs....whatever....fish a few buckets here and there...eventually you will get them.

On my toon, I had no new fish in about 5-6 months, very disheartening, but I kept at it and finally landed an ultra...got one about every 2 weeks after that...I was really psyched...lol...well the final one took probably another 3-4 months.

I would consider myself somewhere between a casual and serious fisher, like I said mostly I fished, did other stuff, fished, etc....not so boring that way. Also, I wake up well before work, it takes me awhile to work myself into my day lol...so I fished or raced or golfed while I was having my morning coffee. I wasnt the fastest toon to max, but guess what, I DID IT!!!

I could check the dates, but I know most of the ultras I got was on a thursday morning (after all the junk was collected on bingo wednesday) lol.

I think the worst thing people do is 'save' fishing until the end after they have maxed everything else...lets face it it takes awhile to max the HQs and you could have been fishing here and there the whole time, just my opinion, but its not such a chore then! I used to visit with those lonely 128 fisherman (when 129 was max) and thought to myself, yikes I dont want that to be me.
