Doodle Training Tips and Suggestions
This is my thread about doodle training. No, I am not training doodles, since I got busy, and don't have the time. I made this and I think that it will help with Doodles training abilities. Here's the list below on tips for you and your doodle.
Getting started
First what you need to do, is decide on a trick to max or work on. It may take a while (mine took like 1 week) but its really worth it. First you need to try to jump while saying the trick you're training. Repeat it as many times and as fast as you can. That way, they will become happy without you scratching them or feeding them. Don't say anything but that trick. (good boy/girl nice doodle.. etc.) Also try the phrases "You look nice." "You rock!" "You are awesome!" "You are a genius!" all of those to make them happy WITHOUT scratching or feeding. Try these phrases in order repeatedly if the above doesnt work: Here boy! Here girl! Good boy! Good girl! (the trick) Good boy! Good girl! Nice doodle. Repeat that over and over as fast as you can.
PS: I found out another way to make your doodle do the trick and be happy. First, say the trick. Then while scratching or feeding your doodle, say the trick atleast 2 times. Then after it does the trick, start scratching again and repeating the trick. Repeat that and it should work.
Doodle in Battle
First off, make sure your doodle is happy before you bring him/her into battle. A maxxed trick WONT always work if the doodle is tired, hungry, angry or lonely. Sone doodles who are maxxed on a trick.. for example Jump, it can do it about 6 times in a row. Usually more but it can be less! Make sure you go home to feed your doodle and make it happy. You may want to try to see how many times the doodle can do that trick in a row without confusion or tiredness. (more to come)
After Its Maxxed...
After its maxxed, I must tell you, the doodle isnt going to do it over and over without getting tired. The minimum times I've seen them jump is 4-6. If it is less, it probably isnt a DDL or MML doodle. A lot of doodles are hard to train, so you must be patient with it. Make sure your doodle is fed every now and then, and it is happy and ready for battle! (more to come)
