Doodle Pet Shops - hows it work?

I saw an awesome white doodle in the ddl pet shop today. I didnt have enough, so i spent the entire day fishing for it. I came back at 9 central, it was gone. I assumed the doodles are changed at midnight.. Am I doing something wrong? Does the district matter?? WHERES THE DOODLE THIEF!!.. opps. sorry.

I think once someone buys it, it's theirs. Like real life. If someone bought a cat- it's not gonna be there when you get back.

say at the desk better buy it now, or it might be gone, I saw the same white one I think and wanted it too , was also too broke on little toon to buy, maybe try switch districts and see if you can find one like him. Good Luck!!

Acually, if someone doesn't but the doodle in 3 days time, it just dissapears. It's quite annoying I know if you are saving for it, finally get enough money, and then find it gone when you run up to the clerks at the pet store. But, Also make sure you are in the same playground. Doodles in different playgrounds vary in their colors as well as stats. They have the same body structure, just differnt colors!
