Why buy ? purpose ?

Hi, I am a new toontown player (1 month) with 30+ laughpoints and just as many years behind me (*LOL*)

I am slowly (slowly) learning the game, but one thing stumps me..

why buy furniture, clothes, phrases, etc ??
Does it serve a purpose, or is it "just for fun" ??

I understand that a pet (what are they called ???) may help you improve your laughpoints if you are sad, but besides from that, why own one ?

I also understand you can buy new and better fishing rods, and obviously that has a useful purpose, and catch frases could be helpful, but why would you need to decorate your house, buy clothes, etc ? does it service a purpose for the game, or "just fun" ??


Can someone explain this to me a bit more in details..??

the age group Disney is going for enjoy friends and to have a party at their estate, more then fighting sometimes. And what to do with all the jellybeans. Doodles!

Hi! Welcome to TT.

There's not much detail you can go into really. It's all simply for fun. Basicly, the way we see it, they just added most of that stuff all in 2004 so they could stall the release a new Cog HQ. Most nOObs (newbies) don't really bother with any of that stuff though--they just wait 'til they are bigger.

By the way, the pet's names are doodles.
