Even if I log for an hour, my doodles goes sad and hungry. I hardly see the real point of even having a doodle. They give extra laff back if you play with them, but if it takes several minutes just to get them happy so they can play tricks, what's the point? Go to DD and swim around grabbing stars will get your laff pts back a great deal faster. |

Batleth,
I completely agree - my doodle is much more trouble than I believe it is worth. It's all alone and gets lonely and angry way too fast. I can feed it 5 jellybeans in a minute, turn around to go into my house and it's hungry again! Trying to get it cheerful enough to do tricks takes 10 to 15 minutes, and that takes time away from accomplishing any of my other tasks. I'm seriously thinking about turning it back in.

My doodles can die of starvation for all I care. I tolerated them before, but since the update that changed their animations, I hate them. The only reason I still have any is because my kids still like them. I agree with Batleth, it is much faster to go to a playground and collect stars, snowflakes, etc than it is to have your doodles do tricks, and then when you can finally get them to do a trick, they get tired and sad again and you have to start from scratch again. Hardly worth my time. This game is called Toontown, not Keep the Doodle Happy. I want to defeat cogs, not spend forever not getting my tasks done because I'm constantly having to keep my doodles happy.
Disney, you really blew it on that one. |

Bathleth...Adaware running here too - seems to do what I need it to do!
As for Doodles - I don't really bother with em much. My daughter plays with them sometimes. The only time I mess with them much is if I want to fish at my Estate, or chatting with friends there. Throw em a couple of beans each, give them a scratch or two each and then I ignore them! LOL My daughter got one of them to "play dead" - that was amusing for all of a few seconds! ![]() It's much quicker and easier for me to grab stars, snowflakes etc to get a toon up.

I think the new update must have gummed up the doodles' works somehow.
Our four doodles (two from TTC, two from DG) were a lot more responsive before the update, and improving with use, just like drop and lure improve their accuracy with use. And they seemed to get more effective with company -- if a couple friends came over and brought their doodles, the doodles would get very excited and do lots of tricks. I figured it was a teamwork thing -- if we all worked together and shared our doodles, we could get tooned up really quickly--get five doodles to dance at the same time and get tooned up by 25 points! But now our doodles seem to have unlearned all their tricks and are no longer so responsive. The exception seems to be "Speak!", which seems to be a very effective trick now that it has been debugged. Only problem is, nobody at our house has "Speak!". Oh well..... Violet B.
