This is just one of those odd things that intrigued me. I was looking at the top toons section and at the 'Cattlelog Items Purchased' and the 'Gifts Given'. It made me wonder, just how many cattlelog items can you possibly purchase/give... what's the max?
Here's what I got:
- The cheapest item in the cattlelog is the radio (this includes both versions of it) (25 jb's)
- The maximum amount of jb's a toon can hold is 10,250 jb's
- The maximum amount of items you can purchase/gift is 20 items (20's the max amount that can fit in a mailbox at any one time anyway)
- The maximum amount of friends you can have on your list is 50 friends (also take into account the 5 toons at your estate besides your toon)
Now, taking all this info. into account:
- The amount of radios you can buy with 10,250 jb's without making a stop to get more jb's is 410 items (10,250/25 = 410)
- Now take into account the maximum amount of gifts that can fit into your friends mailbox/the max amount of friends you can have...
- This is assuming their mailbox is empty and can hold 20 items btw... 1,000 items total! (20x50 = 1,000) But wait, if you have other toons at your estate you can also get items for them, so after revision... 1,100 items total! (20x55 = 1,100) But wait one more time, then there is you of course, so after another revision, the amount of items... comes to a grand total of 1,120 items!! (20x56)
- Now of course there are ways to surpass the maximum if you want to get technical with it (For ex: Buy items for a friend, delete that friend, find a new friend, buy items for that friend, etc.)
- In total, if you did everything right on track (didn't use the technical explanation above) you'd have spent a grand total of... 410 + 410 + 300 = 1,120 items... a grand total of... 10,250 jb's + 10,250 jb's + 7500 jb's... (300x25 = 7500) A GRAND TOTAL OF 28,000 JB'S!!
So, if you really wanted to set an all time record for Top Toons purchase/gift section it'd look like this: 'Cattlelog Items Purchased' = 1,120 and 'Gifts Given' = 1,100 (of course this amount discludes your toon since items gifted to yourself don't count unlike the items purchased.)
If anyone sees something I didn't calculate right, please alert me to it! That's all I have to say!
Except...
* Results will vary if you don't use the radio as a gifting item, it was the cheapest and most convinient gift to use in this scenario, that's why I decided overall to use it in this example!
