Your post is a little off topic. . . That's okay though, I'll PM you and answer your question. That way everyone can stay on topic.

On topic: Upgrades to your house would be neat. Decorating the inside is fun and all, but I'd like upgrading the outside too. I know it'll never happen (Too much possibility for bad usage), but I think it'd be a ton of fun if you could actually paint the outside of your house yourself. Like with a picture editor. More possible would be statues. It'd be awesome if you could buy statues of your Toon to put in the garden. Or even pictures of yourself to put on the wall! Pictures of friends would be neat too. After all, lots of people have pictures of themselves with friends, don't they? Toons should too! The pictures in the catalogs are interesting for a while, but they don't hold much appeal for long. Pictures of your own Toons would be far more interesting. Like when you finally got that last fish, or the day you finally went off the deep end and made Lil Oldman regret giving you all those hard chores to do. . .

I know something you don't know. My SF who's also a dev told me. Nothing specific about the upgrade size or when it'll happen, but he did mention the suggested cost: 4500 beans.

I'm not saying you are wrong, but I've had a bit of experience with "devs." Most often, they're mentioned by people who say they know them. You do realize that that's how most urban legends are, don't you? My friend heard from a friend who heard from his uncle. . . etc. No real information.

I'm not saying you're wrong (I'd love something new to blow truckloads of beans on) but when people say they know a developer, it's more often than not a lie.

If you do happen to know a dev, lucky you! If something like that does come out in Toontown, then you can refer all your friends to this post and say "I told you so!"

If it turns out I'm wrong, please do remind me of this. I'd love to see it.

On another note. . .
It'd be awesome if you could get more wallpaper for your house too. Think about it: Wall to wall doodles! Or something weird. . . Beets! Paint your wall to look exactly like the floor of your house! Or even better. . . Turn it into a mirror! Lose all perspective of where you are!

Has anyone noticed that there're tons of things you can use on your floor, a lot you can put on your walls, but nothing that you can put on the roof? I know nobody pays attention to it (unless your friend's lower half is hanging through it), but a nice light would be fun. Maybe a chandelier or a ceiling fan. . . And a switch to turn it on and off. It'd be fun if you could turn the lights out and make your house darker.

Kind of off topic, but still a little to do with your house: New clothes would be fun too! Imagine how hilarious it would be to see a Toon walking around Toontown in something random. . . Like a Cog suit! Not the one that makes you look like a cog, one that looks like the clothes they wear. You know, flat, metal, full of bolts, printed with their symbol. . . lol I'd personally enjoy having clothes that made your Toon transparent. Maybe my ideas are too far fetched for Toontown though.

Oh, well. I can dream. . .

Maybe that really expensive idea really is real, and one of these will be it! That'd be so cool.

Edit: 4,500 would be a lot for littler Toons, but certainly not for bigger ones. I can get 4,600 all at once for defeating about 400 Cogs on my bigger Toon. And if I do whole factories and use sound, it doesn't cost me a single jellybean.

There could be 6 houses:

FREE!: Small, 2 rooms, holds 25 items (the ones we have now)

2000 jb: Small, 3 rooms, holds 45 items

3500 jb: Medium, 4 rooms, holds 60 items

4500 jb: Medium, 5 rooms, holds 75 items

5500 jb: Large, 6 rooms, holds 90 items

6500 jb: Mansion, 7 rooms, holds 105 items

Keep in mind...

#of rooms x 15 = maxx # items in house/attic (besides the 1st house)

Assuming by that time, TT would have many more cattelogs and furniture/appliances for kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms (and maybe dining rooms) We could actually use those extra rooms.

Maybe that's what Disney will do after BBHQ...add on to estates!!!

I know. It'd rock. But it'd take a lot of time. Like, you had to defeat the boss of Bossbot HQ for tickets, then when you have enough, you can buy the next upgrade and get a bigger house. That'd solve the grey problem.

EDIT: I'm sending this in as a suggestion.

There is one greater problem than that though, and that would be...

WHAT MAKES YOU SO SPECIAL!?

The cartoon characters we've made really haven't had any work in the animation business to give them a unique house. We do have pretty great houses for the average toon. If anyone hasn't noticed, all the colors of each house make a rainbow, with the corner colors making the middle on the start up screen also.

Was thinking the same thing, what about a kitchen? You could buy appliances, like an old style toon stove, and invite your toon frends for dinner at a table where the food pops up, (like at Acorn Acres.)
Toons have to eat, too!
Also, I would love it if your Doodle could come into the house!

Yes! really want to know how to upgrade my house! Thanks!
