First thanks a million for all your great answers!
I have a friend who maxed his doodle on "Play Dead". Every once and awhile he doesn't perform, but will over and over. Is there a reason to max them on "play dead" instead of "speak" which gives more points? Is there a better chance or percentage that they will perform one trick over another![]() Thanks a million, Precious Violet |

I have a friend who says his doodle always performed playdead most consistantly, so that is the trick he focused on and maxed. If this is true, then different doodles might be best at different tricks.
I have another friend who uses his doodles mainly for tooning up at his estate but almost never in battle. He maxed jump on all of them, and I am always amazed at how quickly his doodles tune us up even though it only gives 10. With 4 doodles, only takes 2 or 3 jump commands. Plus, the jump trick takes very little time to perform, which is a nice time-saver. |

On two accounts, I have 11 doodles. Most of them are maxed, and if they aren't, they are one or two bars away on one or two tricks.
Each doodle is different. The first doodle to max any trick was Whiskers, who was also the first one to max them ALL. He will do any trick at my estate usually on the first command (in battle its about 75% of the time). Of all the tricks, he most likes speak and playdead, and believe it or not does "confused" most often on jump. Starfire, on the other hand, will do nearly all tricks all the time at the estate, will do playdead maybe 90% of the time in battle, but will rarely do speak in battle... maybe 20% of the time. Ambrosia will do almost every trick almost every time, at the estate and in battle. She was difficult to max, though, because her personality trait "always playful" meant that if I couldn't keep her attention on the estate (in other words, say the commands fast enough) she would wander off and I would have to "here girl!" until she came back. Now that she is maxed, though (finally maxed rollover 2 days ago), she is a gem! So the answer is, like was mentioned above, each doodle is very different (which is why, if you are smart, you will buy a doodle based on personality, not looks), trains very differently, and performs in battle very differently. Each trick is worth increasing amount of points, takes increasing amount of time to max, BUT is NOT necessarily correspondingly difficult for the doodle to do in battle. It's a matter of trial and error. So maxing all tricks lets you choose the trick that will most likely be performed (based on your experience). Is it worth saying dance and maybe the doodle won't dance or maybe it will and you will get 20 points? Or is it worth saying beg and getting less points but KNOW you will definitely get them.... Hope that helps.

Thank you

Seriously! Thank you, that is new information. The maxed doodle will do playdead at least 5 times before needing a break. Then will playdead again. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Will look for you in TT.![]() Precious Violet |
