Here is a Doodle training Checklist so you know your Doodle's Stats at a glance. I was asked to make this by D. Bonkers Kookyquack, so this isnt my idea. I had this sitting in a folder for a few days... Sorry I didnt get around to posting it... BTW I will add doodles pictures later. (I am also making a Cog Summons Checklist... SINCE I CAN'T KEEP TRACK OF WHAT I HAVE!!! LOL )

I have a Doodle (from DDL) and have started to work with him to build up some of his tricks (I now have all of the tricks available).
The highest LP trick is “Speak” but it’s the hardest trick for him to remember to do. I worked for a number of weeks with him and got up to the next level (12 LP) when I realized there were mutable levels for each trick. My question is. Do the Doodles get more reliable at doing tricks the higher in levels they go, or does the ability to do a trick stay the same at all levels (you just get more LP’s at the higher levels). This is important in battle and others and I need Toon ups, I want the most reliable trick with the highest LP’s I can get. If their reliability does not increase I will concentrate on “Jump” (and other lower tricks). Better to get some toon-up then none at all. Also do you get anything for maxing out a trick for a Doodle? Thanks for any help you can give. |

trick experience not increasing
i've noticed several times that when my doodle performs a trick, his experience points are not increasing. I am absolutely certain about this because i keep his trick training screen open and watch the experience increase after tricks. Am I doing something wrong? What can i do to make sure that his points increase every single time he performs a trick?

Bump
I wanted to bump this up. It's been a while. Nutty, kudos to you for all of your hard work. I also have your name recommended under my signature. (If you could tell me how to add the link I will do so. I'm going to work on that. Hmmph.) I only wish I had found this when I started racing the big girl. She's got no clue how many of what she has done.
Next time, with Gal, I will be better prepared, thanks to YOU! Yee Hah! Love ya! ~dawn~ ![]() PS: Is there a way, once I have downloaded your .pdf file that I can change the districts for boss battles to the correct districts? All I get is a little "hand". Pardon my ignorance. I'm used to working with Adobe PageMaker and everything I know is self taught b/c I was told I wouldn't get a paycheck if I didn't learn (many years ago of course) to make the pc pay for itself. Gawsh, I feel stupid. Let me design something on a pc but don't ask me to do simple stuff. LOL.

to fully max a doodle, without using an illegal trainer is extraordinarily time consuming. I would guess it would take about 10-15 hours per trick. Anyone have any stats on that? I train while I plant/water/pick flowers. I train it seems constantly, because I like running things solo. Candy Sparkleface's doodle is maxed on jump and dance. Super Dads is nearly maxed on jump. Most of my doodles are 7-8 on jump, and 12-13 on dance (the two tricks I focus on). When I did my solo VP, Candy's doodle jumped 14 times in a row without a miss. So it was worth it! Craig

All of your checklists are top-quality, Nutty. I am still trying to get my 20th trophy, but my connection goes to pieces at GSW on Grand Prix Monday. It's always during the second race... Maybe if my SFs are on today and aren't busy, I could invite them to a Doodle trainig thing at my house.
One thing I noticed is that, on the second-highest resolution setting, each trick advances the progress bar by ONE pixel. (And I think it's about 300 pixels or so long at that resolution...) My Doodle is halfway done on his first cycle through Dance, and just started on Backflip and Play Dead... |
