How do I play two toontown accounts on one computer?

I don't understand the directions for playing 2 toontown accounts on the same computer...it says this: (btw, the words in bold I don't understand)

You need a toontown shortcut, which links direct to the python file. This is listed below. Although if you have toontown in a different path, then you will need to change the shortcut.

Place tt.bat into your toontown folder in program files, and create a tt.bat shortcut on your desktop for quick loading, or wherever you want.

Step 1: open regedit. (what the heck is "regedit?"

Step 2: go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Disney\Disney Online\Toontown

Step 3: test doing a export quickly, i quickly click "file" "export" randomly type letters and click enter. Leave regedit open.

Step 4: go to toontown.com in your browser. login to the toon you wish to run as your second toon, we will call this example, toon2.

Step 5: Once you have clicked the red LOGIN button, switch back to regedit quickly.

Step 7: As soon as that apears, as quick as you can, this has to be very fast... export the key like i explained in step 3. It should appear on your desktop (or wherever else it was default saving to) with the random letters and .reg

Step 8: You must close the loading toontown and the browser window. Make sure you close all your browser windows as it will automatically login again if you click play now, stupid cookies.

Step 9: Now go back into internet explorer, load up your other toon account eg. toon1 and leave him running and logged in. So here is your first window. (you must load the internet explorer loaded toon first otherwise it will not work).

Step 10: Now once you have one toon open with normally logging in, you can use the registry key and the shortcut to login to the second toon. The playtoken that you saved in your registry key lasts 24 hours only so you will need to redo if you logout.

Step 11: Run the registry file you have on your desktop, making sure it is saved in your registry.

Step 12: Now double click the shortcut and it will open a command window and run toontown from command line. This should hopefully work.

I'll try to help, I'll need to read through so give me a minute. But I can tell you know that to open regedit just click Start>Run and then type regedit.exe and click OK.
EDIT:I'm going through the steps now to see if what I'm doing is right then I'll try to help you as best I can, possibly making a movie if I can.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't realize this was for people with 2 accounts until toward the end(when this caused Toontown to crash xD). I don't have 2 accounts so I can't get it to work.

After messing up the first time using your movie, I went through again to fix small errors I made in getting the program. I logged one account in, and then I clicked into the shortcut to tt. The black bow with the words show up, and then I get a box that says.... this application has failed to start because of d3dx9_27.dll was not found. I click ok, and then the second account pops up.. Then everytime it goes to the pick a toon page the second account logged in just closes. I'm not sure if I just messed up somewhere, but other then that the video worked... any answers to my problem?

Hmmm, I'm thinking that I misunderstood it the directions somewhere. Even though I actually don't have a second account to test it, I got to where you have that problem. I don't get the error message, but when the loading toontown window comes up it get about halfway through before closing. I figured this was due to using the same account (I never figured it'd work anyways). But since yours closes too, I'm not sure anymore. I really wanted someone who has done it before to see if the movie was done right, but the only person I could ask didn't answer, so I just don't know anymore. Try to figure it out from the wiki, cause I can't vouch for my movie anymore. Best of luck LGZ.

If your account crashed before a message came up that said... you have been booted out of the game because someone has tried to log into your account from a different computer, then we are haveing the same problem. I don't really understand the language of the wiki so I'll just wait until someone goes over your video.. Thanks for trying though... I appriciate it. I'll still go over the wiki, your video did help get me understand.

Ooo, I could have sworn I posted again. Sir Tom, your movie DOES work! I've been using two on same comp for a few days now, since I can't get toontown workin on my other computer. Sorry I didn't post this sooner. When it gets to downloading toontown screen when another window pops up, you have to wait and let it load, while your cursors on the already uploaded toontown account. That's the only way it works for me.

Also Nick, is there any way to run both of them at same time? Would help a lot if there was.

I had the one account up and running and was attempting to conect to TT but I believe this was missing from the reg file....

I was getting a error from panda3d about parent code not being found/known state.

Now for the 1 millon dollar question what IS the above code. I run my accounts with wide open access so I put the code in once and forget it from there. Is that what the above line does?

FYI when they say export FAST it means do it at LIGHTSPEED or WARP 9 if you can

I was looking at the Wiki on how to run 2 toontown accounts on one computer. It says i need an Registry Editor, and I was wodnering how i could get 1 of those, or if I already have 1, where could I find it on my pc. Can some1 help me?

You could really mess things up so bad; that you would need to reinstall Windows !!!!
