Volume control on sound on TT?

Dunno if this has been discussed before, couldn't find anything in search.

I dont have music on these days it goes wrong anyways, i play windowed, so i listen to various stuff using music prog and more recently internet radio stations.

Probs is, it just background music usally and i like sound effects on, but sometime on some stuff the sound effects drown the music out, so much its not worth having music on, or i turn sound effects of aswell, altho this makes some areas of the game more difficult when no sound effects are present.

Most other games have volume controls on them, why not toontown? Plenty of space still left on option page in book

What do you think of this.

I think it's not neccesary, you can manually do it in your audio options of windows XP.

Turning down your speakers would turn your music down too though, and kinda defeats the purpose since the TT sounds would still drown it out. O_o;

yup that is rather the point of volume control in game/prog, to turn down that particular sound or music over another.

I have volume knob on my bass unit what use is xp control, it still dont change individual sounds.

It never came to my mind but exactly - why there's no sound control on TT music and sound effects (to my opinion should be separate for each) whiles even on the sipliest PC games u have always volume control!

Exclamation yeah

they should really have sound control because sometime the midi that play messes up and plays this irritating sound. usually in ddl, if i could turn the music down but keep the effects on, that would help alot.

Well, seeing how slow TT devs are, we don't want to distract them, do we?

Sound control to me is really not that big of a deal. Why should Toontown be working on sound control when they could be working on Lawbot HQ ya know?

Yes! Exactly for the same reasons, Mr Red Bull.

Err maybe they could work on both?

Anyway the team working on new ideas will probs be seperate from anybody that would be making small additions or changes.

Plus its will go through idea and planning phase before, the serious programming gets started.

So i very much doubt that adding a small sound control would make a difference to how long it takes till lawbot HQ comes out.

There will be a set time period before we will see New HQ regardless of how fast they work on it, and i would not be suprised if Law HQ will be ready well before they actually realease it.

I wouldn't be suprised to see something small thats new before Law HQ anyways.

There will be a carefull set out plan for new phases and a timetable for when they come out, and only a mass exidous of players would make them change that.

for my opinion i would think that wouldn't be very necessary because sometimes other people may have speakers or a volume button on their keyboard. But that would be clever though, but wouldn't be necessary.
