It isn't the worst recorded hurricane. It depends how u rate it. It is the worst on the damage and people dying but it wasn't the strongest. Either Hurricane Andrew or Hurricane Emily was the strongest.

they huricane isnt the worse thign the flooding is the water is poisoned ppl r left stranded and in danger. there is no law around there ppl r stealing. ppl r dieing their houses r flooded they have to live on their roofs

I voted 8. Yes, it was bad, but it was not the most devastating thing in history. 8 million Jewish people died a long time ago due to a very evil person, slavery killed many and hurt much dignity, and was unfair. There were many things worse than Katrina, but it was still pretty bad.

I agree with angelgirl, it's really bad, but when someone asks what the worst event in history was, the word "Houlocaust" pops into my head.

I gave it an 8. It was bad, but far from the worst thing to ever happen. Am I the only one that remembers that Tsunami? The one the destroyed half of Indonesia?
I think that Katrina would've gotten a 4 or 5 on the Bad-O-Meter had the government actually been prepared. |
