Toon Detectives Episode 3: ??? You Pick the Next Episode!

This time everyone else gets to choose what story they want to hear. Here are the choice descriptions:

Break-In:
The cogs aren't just all over the streets; they're invading the playgrounds, estates and trolley games! But it's no coincidence...

Toon Turn Off:
Many misfortunes are happening in toontown such as missing gags and saddened toontown authority figures. All the clues lead to Detective Sandy.

Fishey Fishey:
Anyone who fishes in the ponds in toontown central get sucked into the water while the fish population grows.

wow. been a while since i came to this thread. anyway, the second one won because i checked it today. so i'll write about that. when this story finishes, i'll use the one thats in the lead after the second choice as episode 4.

It was a cloudy day at Donald Dock, as usual. Detective Sandy and her friend Raven were taking a swim in the water.
Sandy- I'm so glad I have the day off. Investigating is pretty tough work.
Raven- I dunno, sounds like a real cool job. Not a lot of toons can get actual jobs; especially 33 laff cats. A lot of toons rely on toontasks to progress.
Sandy- I guess. It's still a little tiring though, especially after that doodle case...
Raven- I remember that
The two of them came out and went around a few times on the ferry. Just then, Sandy got a whisper from Detective Patrick.
Detective Patrick- Sandy, we need you in the gag shop in Toontown Central. Right now!
Sandy- Sorry Raven, I gotta get; I'm needed in the Central. You want to come?
Raven- Love to!
With that, they go into their teleport holes; Sandy lands in the gag shop, Raven lands outside the door.
Sandy- What is it?
Detective Patrick- Some... okay, a lot of gags have gone missing.
Sandy- Well that's not good.
Detective Dan- Ya' think?
Sandy- YAGH! Where did you come from?!
Detective Dan- Behind you; I teleported. Did you really think you and Pat were the only ones figuring this out?
Detective Bugsy- Of course not.
Sandy- Geez, toons can't even get a warning when other toons just teleport in!
Detective Crick- I KNOW it!
Sandy- That's just freaky.
Detective Patrick- Yeah yeah, that's nice, but maybe we should focus on the gags, hmm?
Detective Bugsy- He has a point. So Clark, where did you last see your gags?
Clerk Clark- Right before I turned to talk to Clara.
Detective Dan- Wait... what's this?
He bends down to examine something.
Detective Dan- A cupcake crumb!
Detective Bugsy- And there's a piece of lense to a pair of hypno goggles in front of it!
Detective Crick- And a marble!
The detectives follow the trail of gag reminants. Sandy then fell into a teleport hole where the gags ended and hung on by one hand.
Sandy- Hey guys, maybe the teleport leads to the gag stealer. Should we go down?
Detective Crick- Ah, why not.
She then lets go and goes down, down, down the teleport. The others follow her lead and they too, go down, down down. They meet Sandy to where the teleport leads to. They all feel that it looks familiar. Then Sandy says...
Sandy- This is my neighborhood! Who would have done it here?
They keep going and the gag trail leads to Sandy's house. Sandy opens the door and...
Sandy- Oh no... no no no!! It's not! It can't be!

[Sandy]

Sandy- All the gags... they're EVERYWHERE in here!
It was true; her house was overflowing with pies and safes, the marbles and juggling balls were rolling around, and water was leaking everywhere. Copper, Sandy's doodle was drowning in all these gags.
Detective Patrick- Well, this isn't good!
Detective Dan- Why do I work with people who point out the obvious...
Detective Crick- Well, we know it's not Sandy. She would never do anything like that!
Detective Bugsy- Err... right Sandy?
Sandy- Yeah! Besides, I was with you guys.
They then go back to Toontown Central where Raven is waiting for Sandy.
Raven- How did it go?
Sandy- Not as good as I expected.
She then explains to Raven what happened.
Raven- That stinks. Better luck next time, huh?
The rest of the day, Raven and Sandy spent time together walking in the garden of Daisy Gardens and doing toontasks. When the moon came out in all the neighborhoods, Raven and Sandy went to bed.
The next day, Sandy was waking up from a nice long sleep. She expected Copper to be licking her glove when she woke up as he usually did. Instead she was in a place she didn't recognize. There were controls in front of her and a screen. She looked at the screen. There were six little sections in the screen. They all showed the trolley, as well as many angry toons near it and on it. Sandy looked up where the timer was. It was frozen on 02 seconds. She turned around to find the conductor of the trolleys on the floor knocked cold.
Sandy- What am I doing here? Why is the conductor knocked out?
Suddenly, all four detectives are outside the door and find Sandy in the control panels.
Sandy- Guys, this isn't what it looks like. Please believe me...
