Expose "wanted" toons to search engines
We need a way to expose a list of "toons seeking toons" to external search engines. The current problem is that toontowncentral's "secrets" forum isn't indexed. For example, Google shows only page 1 of the forum from three months ago. That just doesn't cut it. Either we get a page indexed here on a daily basis or we index a page at some other site.
Here's a sample page that would do the trick: 1) Super Flappy Sparkleburger is looking for Slappy Thunderthighs - Contact "Super Flappy" at toontowncentral.com 2) Inigo Montoya is looking for You Killed Myfather - Contact "Prepare to Pie" at toontowncentral.com You get the idea. First, you post to the "toons seeking toons" page. Then, you wait for the page to be indexed. Finally, you go through the "Eepy eep eep, Sorry I can't understand you, Let's go to ttc, Follow me, Exit" dance. This way, anybody savvy enough to search the web for their own toon name or your toon's name will be clued in immediately. Think this will work? Have a better idea? There's got to be an easier way, short of Disney linking to ttc.com in their FAQ. - Super Flappy Sparkleburger |

Well, you all did it with me, Super Flappy - but it took 2 days. Candy told me that only Star Spangled Bunny and I have been able to figure out the secret code that way. I can tell you it was frustrating on my end. I kept thinking, "How am i not supposed to use speed chat?" "What are they trying to tell me?" I was mostly aggravated with myself for not being able to figure it out. I think that it was the use of the "No Problem" "No" on the second day that first made me think that Candy was trying to give me code. A long time ago I was in the military. I learned the phonetic alphabet there. We used to play games with it. For instance your initials SFS would be Sierra Foxtrot Sierra. Candy was just lucky that she had an all letter secret to give me. I have no idea what you would do with the numbers and the letters that aren't in the speed chat - like q and z. You could keep asking for secrets until you got the letters you wanted but then trying to get another toon to understand what you're doing is another story. All I could think of when I finally got it was "Phew!" But after that it has been well worth it!
You all rock! Thank you all for having the patience to keep trying. As an aside - i can understand and appreciate that Disney made it difficult to do this for one reason, at least. It keeps the predators away from the innocent. Way too many of those in cyberspace. Sad but true. We don't know that there aren't any hanging around in Toontown. We hope there aren't - but we don't know for sure. I hope I'm not sounding paranoid. I'm really not. One of my favorite sayings is, "I'm too stupid to be scared." That just means that I don't worry for myself and would rush in where I would advise others not to. Okay, now that I lost my train of thought... It's the ADD but I'm getting better. The medication is helping. See you all in Toontown. ![]()

rosie sparkelberry did it for me!
I figured it out ,the key was saying" use the speed chat,no"then I knew she wanted to relate a code to me.it probably took another hour, she was spelling x,x,d-o-t-c-o-m & I spelled it back to her.I thhought she was sending me a code.I kept trying it to no avail.theen I said "it isn't on this street" meaning it wasn't working then I said "one more?" and she found a code that she could pass through the speed chat, and I got it right away.we used a smile as the space between the 2 three letter groups. Thanks Roise! by the way,in less than two monthes, rosie achived 90 something status, broke the code and invented (I guess) a code hurray for her you rock miss Sparkelberry!!!- Mr.Nice
