While I appreciate it's use in reducing spam, there are cases where I have just finished a post, read another thread, and post a quick reply answering whatever question was in the thread, and must wait half a minute or more, staring at my screen, before I can actually submit the next non-spam post.

It's annoying when you speed-read and type 60+ words per minute and get into a good flow and suddenly it's stopped by hitting the brick wall of 'anti-spam protection'.

But it's a necessary evil, I suppose...

Hee hee! Thats good to have the 60 seconds,...But when you are looking at the list of what a friend said in other posts (click on there name&info and look at the post they have made) you have to wait 60 seconds to look at that again. Why?

Because clicking on a name and viewing their posts is executing a search, and searches make the server work hard, so they prevent repeated searches by the same user to prevent someone from crashing the server by over-working it.

Otherwise I could open the search screen on a dozen windows and refresh them rapidly and bring the server to a screeching halt...
