Should we be able to cancel our Toontasks?

Yeah, any tasks. I had an easy task but I picked the wrong one. I wanted to cancel it but I couldn't. >.<

OK, but in MY opinion, we should be able to cancel only the Just For Fun Toontasks.

Yes, but only just for fun toontasks, and if we could cancel non just for fun toontasks, we would have to do the same one in order to get the reward we want.

I don't think we would need to. Besides, doesn't anyone multitask their toontasks? Like defeat 100 Lawbots and Defeat 100 cogs in the Brrr. Multitask them, and presto! One task that completes two hard tasks! So, defeat 100 lawbots in the Brrr! It does two toontask in one!

Exactly! That's the point I'm trying to get to.

Oh and toon818 it's 90 LB in the Brrrgh and 100 LB anywhere. So you would have 10 Cogs left.

Well I wouldn't really want to cancel a toontask after I had started it unless it was realllly hard but I really want to be able to cancel a toontask when I get the wrong one like I found a great one then I pick the wrong one by accident

I once got 4 tasks all requiring Sellbots, I needed merits; here were the tasks:

3 Factories
6 Skelecogs in SBHQ
2 Factories
3 Factory Foreman


Now that was so good! I think I got 2 frames and 600 jellybeans!

I'm sorry but if you said No then I certainly don't see how you could call yourself sane. Lol. Seriously.

I mean, I can't find a day I didn't regret picking 100+ 5 story Lawbot buildings because that task alone kept me at Laff 99 for more than a month. Mind you but what made it even worse was the fact that I had misread the task, that caused me to pick it. That is until I thoroughly read the it that I finally realized it was specifically asking for 5 story Lawbot buildings and not just any general one. At one point I even felt like Lil Oldman would have given me a better break. If I had one chance to return the task you don't know how fast I would do it. I'd be the first in line to tell you the truth. Other than a ton of wasted time, I received no benefit from finally completing the task. Gags were already maxxed and had no other tasks available to me other then the "Just for Fun" ones.

You'd actually be surprised at the lengths I went to try and remove the task. I actually tried chatting with a representative at one point but was reverted to "Toontown is always trying to improve itself, please be patient as these bugs and kinks will eventually be fixed" or something along those lines. I still wonder if the task is still do-able to this day.

In my opinion there's a thin line between what's beneficial for you and what's a simple waste of time, and if anything I think they should allow you to return your task for something more accomplish-able.

What if you accidently choose a 'Defeat 250 1st Ranked Cogs' or '400 4+ story bossbot buildings'? You should be able to cancel it to save you the hassle.

Well, I think canceling them meaning that you cancel them, but they are still at the Toon HQ for you to get them when you feel like doing it. Not like you get it, cancel it, then move on to more without finishing the next one. So I said Yes.
