Who Feels that there should be a specific section for complaints about the game. There has been a rash of posts from Toons who are upset about the time it is taking Disney to come out with new stuff. We all agree that content is important but to keep the game as great as it is, the quality has to go hand in hand with the content. I believe it will be worth the wait.

Why a seperate section.....

So those of us who still like the game or those that are new will not have to read all this negative stuff.
There could be a warning before entering, warning users :
"You are entering an area full of definite game spoilers, if you do not want your ToonTown experience ruined then go back now."

That's not a very fair poll.

I would say no to another section, that doesn't mean I don't care about others etc and what I post. But I feel there are too many different sections now and can't be bothered reading them all.

At the time I voted the only 2 options were:
Yes, Seperate the Negatives & Spoilers.
No, I don't care if I spoil someone else's fun
I chose No from those two options, but would now prefer to select the less antagonistic second No option now on offer. *sigh*

I dont agree with everything posted to these forums. But I also dont agree with trying to ostracise members who put up stuff we dont like.

Now I have a poll that isnt even framed in an even-handed fashion, and wants us to segregate any who dare to criticise the game. Its less than a month since one frequent poster was hounded off the boards and I dont think we do ourselves any favours by limiting ourselves to opinions that we like to hear.

Those who have seen my posts know that "I like this game", but also know that I like many others, feel that Disney still has a long way to go in developing this game. I resent the idea that what IMHO is valid comment would be shunted off into a segregated area.

If reading the to-and-fro of opinions bothers members then I sugggest a large part of the froth can be cut out by ignoring the Playground threads.

... but to me the range of attitudes and behaviours on the boards here is indicative of the various characteristics found in the game itself. In other words, I like to see what makes other toons tick.

My problem is that there is too much complaining going on here now. A nice thread that I'm enjoying can be all of a sudden spoiled by some ranting and raving. When a thread starts off with it, I can then decide to follow it or ignore it.

Maybe rather than a separate section, we need to ask that everyone clearly define their subject when the thread starter and to stay on subject when responding.

Or you can all ignore me. No skin off my teeth.

I think Bubbles idea is better then mine.

Maybe not separate or segregate a complaint, but at least have some kind of indication at the start of the post.

I also agree with everything you said Pudgey, in what started as what I thought was a good idea, should have been more thought out. I don't know who or how the other options were added but thanks to whoever did add them.

It would appear I have become what I attempted to shun.
It took me a day and some smart words from other Toons yet I have seen the error of my ways.
Unfortunately for me it appears that unlike normal threads, you can not delete a "poll".

So I think I'll just be quiet now, and simply play the game.

I voted yes because

1. I do hold back A LOT of what I don't like about the game so that people new to the game won't be turned away from the game. A separate moan and groan board would change that.

2. People who did not want to be brought down by negativity could just bypass that forum all together.
