Interesting question
I'd have to go with suit for CFO just because it is really tricky during the crane round. The cog round is easy, but if you have 8 people not knowing what they're doing during the craning, everyone will go sad pretty fast.
Otherwise, yeah. I see a lot of higher laff toons with low laff suits and I'd rather have the high laff and gags to make it easier. I didn't start going to VP until I was in my 80's. It was pretty easy to catch on to the pie round. I always check to see what toon's laffs are before I go in. If there are CC's with 80-100 laff? Heck yeah I go with em. ![]() |

If I had to choose between the two above I would have to go with suit level, because it can show some experience when they have high suit levels, but I would go with neither.
To me, what matters is the experience, but experience is impossible to be measured when looking at a toon. The next best thing is gags. Regardless if you are a low suit or low laff, as long as an individuall has great gags like ubers do; that shows that they understand the game of TT and have experience. Almost all high laffers have maxed gags, and some do have little to no experience, but their lack of experience is compensated when they are able to take out a cog by using maxed gags. Well it depends.
As a 60+ laff Glad Hander (only one fight away from Mover & Shaker) I highly depend on those with higher gags to save me since I can only carry so much lure. Now, in terms of skill. Yes, I judge people's suit level by their pie-throwing skills, never their gags. (Okay, I've seen a lot of 100+ laffers who came with me and are telemarketers and cold callers O_o.) Yah, they're absolute geniuses during the cog and skeles round. Now, pie's round quite different. Usually when I random, there are only 1 or 2 stunners. because they don't know what they're doing. I am usually one of them unless I'm with a good group. I really don't know what to say. As soon as I am of a higher laff and can carry more lure, I really don't care who I go with. Suit= VP skill. Gags and laff = Cog fighting skill. |

Suit, it shows that they have more experience but the laff should have the gag along with it.. otherwise the guy would probably stink without those fruit pies or seltzers ( not saying for 100+ although some do carry fruit pies and stuff )
but the cfo is mainly judged by the suit cause the cfo is based on teamwork and if that person have a awful suit it means they dont exactly know what there doing ( but this does not go for everyone ) cj i do not have anything for that tho.. i dont know which one.. -_- |

When VP first came out, laff mattered most - because we were ALL clueless cold callers, and the VP lagged badly.
When CFO came out, I paid more attention to suit - because I was able to CFO on test and make it at 60 some laff. But even so, I only paid attention to know who needed help, not to refuse to load. When law came out, I paid more attention to gags, if I must choose - because for the most part, when law first came out, most everyone with a suit was maxed in gags, and well over 100. Now, I pay attention to suit. I prefer going with small suits. In law, I just don't have the experience to deal with 10 cogs. In CFO and VP, if there are more than 2 50s, I much prefer to do a 4 man - if it's gotta be 8, there's just absolutely NO challenge in going with big suits. But really, at this point, that level 1 suit could quite possibly have many 50s under their belt, so even some 4 mans with all smaller suits are easy. So I didn't vote. Cuz the only thing that really matters is TEAMWORK, and that can't be figured out by suit or laff.

It depends on the hq.
Sellbot:none Cashbot:Suit- the more experieced the toons are, the better the crane round will go. It's been too often that I would go in and the higher laffs would no less about the crane process than a higher suit toon with less laff. Any toon with adequate gags can make it through the cog round as it is nothing but a double length VP Skelecog round which many lower laff toon go through every day. Lawbot: none- the only 2 problems I've had here is when everyone decides to hit the scales and not stun, and the ones that are laff hysterical and stop to get a toon up every time they lose 5 points. Bossbot: none- can't wait to see when it is released. |

I pay attention to both, but I gotta say laff limit. Of course, really what you need to judge them by is skill. Now I think I would probably say suit lvl but they could know EXACTLY what they are doing even if they are a cc lvl1. They could have bigger toons. So, in the VP I dont really care...okay so let me put it this way-
VP Laff-dont pay attention Suit-dont pay attention I know most people here know what they need to do. CFO Laff-dont pay attention Suit-Uh...I'm really concerned about suits on this one because of the crane round CJ Laff-dont pay attention Suit-sort of In the CJ I know everyone has alot of laff and I'm really not concered about laff, now that I think about it. I'm fine with any suit or laff except in the CFO. There the crane round is pretty hard and I would rather go with a bunch of bigger toons that have a lot more skill. So...I know I voted laff but I was thinking about something else while I was voting and wasn't thinking clearly....oh well. So I basically think its better to look at suit. |

Here's what I think about the poll:
VP: Suits do show experience, but some low laffers may have struck lucky or have other high laff toons, so it's both I guess. CFO: Laff doesn't matter much, since most people that go in are 90 laff or above. The suit I haven't noticed a difference with. ![]() CJ: Laff doesn't matter since the min laff you have to be to fight CJ is 100. Suit matters a bit because some toons might not know important parts of the second round. |
