I'm currently reading Tom Sawyer...it's for summer reading. If I didn't have summer reading, I would be catching up on all the Harry Potter books I haven't read yet.

*yawn* Books bore me. Ya, ya I know the "books expand your vocab. & other stuff," but I just never really seem to get into 'em. I already have to do enough reading over the summer & during school, loads of reading in Lang. Arts. >_> That's just my opinion, though.

Yes, as am I.

I'm actually very picky about that books I read, and usually about half the books I pick up aren't read more than twice (Unless it is for school). When I do find a good book however, I find myself unable to put it down until it is finished. I have an interest for older, sometimes older-audience novels (Reading level, of course ), and some action novels, and maybe mystery.

Im'ma sucker for books.

Yeah. XD
All of the books I read are for older audiences (reading level and subject matter sometimes XD), But I understand most of it. Half of the "subject matter" stuff is just PG13 so im old enough. XD But mainly just because most of the things I read are autobiographies and biographies, and hey, life isnt always g-rated. Especially when you have a life worth writing about. lol

Thing is, if you go into it with the attitude "oh man, I HAVE to read this book for school" you're never going to like it. Just relax and get into the flow of the story, and you might be surprised.

I like reading ONLY when it's when I want to. I will NEVER read a book willingly on my own if I am told to read it for school or something else. It just isn't pleasurable. I hate when I am told to read a book for school let alone take notes on it. Yech!
