Although hard to say for sure as seems that link is incomplete (filtered by TTC no doubt)? Always you ask yourself, did I ask for it, was it sent out of blue for no reason in an email if so, was the greeting generic. Always best to go to the actual Toontown site manually and navigate to what you want if you are ever unsure about a link. 'Keep it Kool '

Secondly if we are still talking about same link, then as I said before looks like old launcher link, however if it asked you to enter your password to get whatever it was offering then it was obviously fake and phishing site of some sort. Old launcher links just gave you download of launcher, you never need to enter any details. When did this happen? If it was in last 24hours or so, you need to contact TT customer support immediately. It's sounds like your true friend has given you a link so they can get into your account, probably a fake site they set up themselves or one they know to be up to no good, one that specialises in make others toon life misery by dismantling others accounts possibly? It's seems unlikely a TF that was not up to no good would pass you a link without having checked out themselves, which means they are either really stupid, or deliberately wanted you to enter your account details there. If the later is true, then you need to report the TF & the link to customer support immediately, if done soon enough any damage to the account/toons may well be fully recoverable. They may well only wanted toons on the account, or just to delete stuff for their own nasty pleasures, however if you put parent/main login details into the site, they would have access to you personal details including some of your payment details, although there should not be enough to give complete fraud access, if your debit/credit card details were logged there, you may want to stop the card and get new one issued as a precaution. If however you paid via Paypal or gamecard then you should be ok on that respect. Whatever you do, if you definitely can't get access to your account still, ACT NOW and contact TT customer support (well probably on Monday, don't think they do weekends )'Keep it Kool '

I will not got to site just in case it has other things lurking on I might pick up, the title of site already has me suspicious, if it looks like a official TT site that's even more suspicious, Disney would not use a URL like that.
There's a program on TV in UK (dunno if in states too) called 'The Real Hustle'. A group of 3 ex con artists hustle real people with real scams, then after they film the affects the give stuff back and ask if they can show others so they not get scammed the same way. One of the first rules they say for not being conned is :- 'If it seems to good to be true, It probably is not true'. 60% of the small cons they do involve a lure of some kind, usually a free something or service in which they then use info they get from that to plan an bigger con. In this case it's hard enough to get a free month of Toontown, let alone a free year. Even if was a competition it would no doubt be a single prize, and you would not need to enter your details until you were the winner and checks both sides were done (even if then). Usually in this type of give-away the prize would probably be in game code(s) or game card(s) form. So would not need your TT account details. An name, and email, maybe a contact number would suffice for first part. This certainly smells of scam to get account details for no good to me. I hope you have already contacted customer support about this already, especially if you entered details there. 'Keep it Kool '
