From what I understand, the gag production cycle for the level 7 gags is tied to the earning cycle of level 7's. That the tree produces one when and only when you earn one.

You can harvest (pick) your Level 7 gag once a day. If you don't pick it one day, it will be there the next.

Just choose which gag you want to grow. All gags except lure give 10% more damage/toon-up when they're organic. Lure is 10% more accurate instead.
