Need info on statues

No, statues are just for decoration. To unlock the ability to buy larger ones, you will need more shovel points.

Yes decoration only, and as above post said, you need certain level for best statues.

Think it goes up by shovel/plant combo's, so you need gold shovel and 8 flower combo, to get Big Mickey Fountain.

You have to order statues from the Cattelog, but can't get them until you reach a certain level. I have the Donald Duck, too, but I don't like it. It is not even 3d! Always has the same view!
